Defund Nancy Pelosi!

1. Good News: Where the Intel is Good

  1. "The ringleader of a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme in Minnesota, Aimee Bock, was sentenced to over 41 years in prison yesterday. Bock siphoned more than $240M in pandemic-era food assistance via her Feeding Our Future network. " [1440 Digest, 22 MAY 2026]

  2. During the Communist Occupation, when our oppressors did DEI to our military and mandated medical experimentation on the members of our Armed Forces, recruitment was dismal. Today, that situation has completely turned around. Recruitment is not just up, it is on fire.

  3. Lisa Murkowski, the most reliable Democrat in the Senate, has been a fake "Republican" from Day One and she's about to be primaried. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Alaska deserves better, and they will soon be treated to a major improvement. Shame on Mitch McConnell for his failure to remove her when he was the "leader" of the Republican Party. Trump will get the job done. Unfortunately, we have to wait until 2028 unless the Marxist Ms. M. decides to resign before then.

  4. Even with communists doing their "mostly peaceful protesting" (violent rampages and murder sprees), the murder rate in the USA is the lowest it has been in 125 years. And it wasn't due to "gun control" (making sure only criminals have guns) under Trump (who is very pro-2nd Amendment). A big driver of this was restoring law and order to a few "gun free zone" cities (which, under communist control, were havens for violent criminals). Closing our borders also had a major effect. One thing many people don't connect the dots on but soon will is the $14 trillion (4.5 x the GDP of Japan) invested by foreign companies in American manufacturing last year has put millions of Americans into good-paying jobs. When you reduce poverty, you reduce crime.

  5. Porch thieves get their just deserts more often, these days. I love videos like this one: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WP5PUpOpVZA?feature=share

  6. "Cigarette smoking among U.S. adults reached an all-time low of 9% last year, according to findings from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In the mid-1960s, 42% of U.S. adults were smokers. The rate has been gradually dropping for decades, due to cigarette taxes, tobacco product price hikes, smoking bans, public education campaigns, and changes in the social acceptability of lighting up in public." [The Flyover]

  7. Pam Bondi served her country well as AG, and she deserves our gratitude and admiration. Libtards and commies hate her, or course. She's now battling thyroid cancer. A credit union executive posted a video in which she prayed that Ms. Bondi will "....suffer the worst case of cancer anybody' ever seen.". The good news is the credit union fired that executive. Even better news is that the prognosis for Ms. Bondi is good.

  8. Comrade Spanberger's "Assault weapons ban" is blatantly idiotic, not to mention unconstitutional. Eight prosecutors in Virginia have publicly announced they will not enforce it. The Virginia General Assembly opposed the SB 749 (the bill to which the ban was added) after Spanberger added her illegal "assault weapons" ban amendments before signing it.

  9. Unsurprisingly, the jobs reports this year have all been stellar and have all exceeded economists' projections. The May report was twice what the economists expected. When you inject $14 trillion (4.5X the GDP of Japan) of foreign investment into USA manufacturing, you will see massive increases of employment. And these are real jobs, not fake useless jobs in government bureaucracies.

Election Integrity, #1

The Republican National Committee has filed 130 lawsuits across 32 states to combat election fraud. If the Democrat Party still existed in a form other than name only, would it also have filed many lawsuits  to ensure election integrity? Not if history is any kind. In the 1960 election, long before it became the Communist Party, the Democrat Party put JFK in the White House via cheating; Exhibit A being how Mayor Daley of Chicago handed him Illinois' Electoral College votes.

The fraud was obvious and some in the GOP wanted to contest the election. Nixon insisted it wasn't a hill worth dying on. Kennedy was not a terrible choice, and there would be other elections in the future. So Nixon conceded.

Today, the fraud is obvious. It has been obvious for many years. Today it is a hill worth dying on, as we have seen (and felt) what the commies do with power. They are a terrible choice, a fact that is even more obvious than their blatant election cheating is. Which is why they so blatantly cheat.

Election Integrity, #2

As was proven by the coup that gave us the Communist Occupation, having the world's most powerful military is pointless if you have weak election protections. Our military budget for 2026 is $895 billion. That is for our Department of War. One could say we need an even larger budget for a department in charge of defending our elections. But that isn't necessary. Here is part of what needs to be done, and it's already been in motion since Liberation Day:

  • Use our Justice System to identify and prosecute bad actors.
  • Protect whistleblowers from reprisals.
  • Protect police, investigators, prosecutors, and legislators from lawfare.
  • Shut down money-laundering operations that fund Communist Party candidates and election cheating.

Election Integrity, #3

From the Freedom and Liberty Report:

"A federal judge in Washington on Thursday declined to block President Trump’s executive order restricting mail-in voting, handing the administration a significant legal win heading into the 2026 midterms. Democrats had sought an emergency injunction. The order directs the creation of a national voter eligibility list and limits who qualifies for a mail ballot. The judge found that plaintiffs could not yet demonstrate irreparable harm — a threshold required for emergency relief — leaving the order in place for now.

The ruling does not resolve the underlying constitutional questions, and legal challenges are expected to continue. But the decision gives the administration time to implement the order before November, a window that could reshape how millions of Americans vote."

Election Integrity, #4

From the Freedom and Liberty Report: :

"GOP Wins Redistricting War Republicans are on track to finish the 2026 redistricting cycle with a structural advantage of roughly 10 House seats over Democrats, according to a CNN analysis published Thursday. The coast-to-coast map-drawing battle — driven by mid-decade redistricting pushed by the White House — is nearing its conclusion. The cycle has reshuffled millions of voters into new districts across the country.

PBS NewsHour reported that the scale of the remapping is unprecedented outside of a decennial census year, with several battleground states redrawing lines that had been in place since 2022. Not every fight is settled. Alabama Republicans asked the Supreme Court to lift a lower-court ruling blocking their preferred map — a move that could add another seat to the GOP column. The structural edge, however, is already baked in."

Election Integrity, #5

"A North Carolina court has delivered another major victory for election integrity, ruling that U.S. citizens born overseas who have never lived in North Carolina cannot vote in the state’s elections." [Big League Politics]

Election Integrity, #6

During the Communist Occupation, democracy was a crime. Tina Peters went to prison for that crime. She has now been freed. The commies need to stop talking about "their" democracy, which is a totalitarian state. Actually the commies need to just stop talking, period. Nothing they say is true and very little of what they say makes any sense at all.

Election Integrity, #7

The USPS is moving forward on mail-in ballot reforms. These are not draconic and don't favor one part or the other. They simply stop a very potent form of bypassing democracy and rendering elections moot. Which is why the commies are so opposed to these reforms.

Election Integrity, #8

The single most potent thing that can be done to make our elections honest and fair is to apply business law principles to the fake news media. Let's say I run a business and it's registered as an LLC. The business is not on the hook for my personal liabilities, nor am I on the hook for the liabilities of the business. Back taxes owed? The IRS can go after only the one that owes the taxes, not both of us. But suppose I comingle the funds or in some other way don't run it as a business. In that case, the IRS would declare it a "sham business"  and act as if it does not exist. IRS does not need a court order or ruling to do this, because the criteria are strict.

So here we are with outfits like CNN and the New York Times that are sham media outlets. They currently are allowed to chronically commit a plethora of crimes and immoral actions that do tremendous harm on a large scale. Committing those crimes and immoral actions isn't an error on their part, it is their mission. They just use words to do it and then claim they are protected by the First Amendment. But the reality is they are all sham "news" outlets. Their press credentials should be revoked or not honored. But most of all, the hate-drenched lies they peddle are not protected by the First Amendment. Hate speech is a crime. You don't get to indulge in it just because you run a sham media business.

What has the Trump administration done in regard to this? Unlike the Communist Party, the Trump administration considers the potential fallout from censorship. The Communists severely punished people for telling the truth, but Trump does not want to imitate that behavior toward the chronic liars. Instead, he's gone the 4D chess route. Let them say their lies during a press conference, and then be told publicly they are dishonest and why. Keep exposing them for the terrible people that they are. Citizen Trump has also sued the bejesus out of at least two severe offenders, but President Trump has not brought criminal charges; this also is brilliant.

I am reminded at this point of the scene in a Spider Man movie where Spiderman is losing his fight against Doc Oc. He's on a bus full of people, and they step in to help Spiderman. That is what we need to do. Here are five things you can do:

  • Make positive references to so-called "alternate media". "Did you see the piece on Politbrawl?", raising awareness enough that people you know will look for actual information sources.
  • Make negative references to specific lies told by lamestream media. "Honestly, I don't know how those New York Times people can sleep at night. How shameful for their families."
  • Subscribe to actual news sources. This helps them compete against the sham ones for advertising dollars and access to events.

  • When somebody respews some leftwing idiocy, say something like, "You are too smart to have come up with something so stupid. Where did you come across this nonsense?" This strong challenge is not attacking the respewer, it's attacking the source of the idiocy. By framing this as the respewer is too smart, you not so subtly suggest they drop that stupidity source that is dragging them down.
  • Do a search such as "CNN's top advertisers". Then go to the website of five of them, click Contact Us, and leave a short note saying you and others are boycotting companies that support CNN because CNN is a hate-based organization that spreads disinformation and anti-America propaganda. This will take you only 10 minutes. Then e-mail your friends and ask them to do the same.

SCOTUS Breakthrough

Recently, SCOTUS voted unanimously to overturn lower court rulings and side with the DOJ on immigration policy. It isn't this actual case that is the really good news. It's the fact that the senile old bat, the mental retard, and the law-ignorant DEI hire all sided with the competent, qualified Justices. This could be due to any of a number of factors, but what it signals to me is these three are not under the absolute control of the communists.

The lamestream media refer to these three idiots as the "liberal Justices" but that is grossly misleading. Ruth Bader Ginsberg was a liberal Justice. But she was not senile, mentally retarded, or profoundly ignorant. She was not a DEI hire. She was sharp, extremely intelligent, and extremely knowledgeable. She had the respect of her ideological "opponent", Justice Scalia. Ginsberg and Scalia often were on the same side of an issue, notably those dealing with the 8th Amendment. Where the two disagreed, the dissenter wrote a brilliant dissent. There has never been anything brilliant from any of the three idiots. Disturbingly stupid, yes. Brilliant, no.

In practical terms, this bright spot means nothing. The Court has mostly ruled 6-3, with the idiots writing such embarrassing dissents that the majority opinion is actually stronger. Perhaps that is the purpose of the three idiots. They can't change the outcome, but they can make communist "reasoning" look like the joke that it is. In terms of the optics, always having the sane people vote one way and the three idiots voting the other way gives abjectly stupid people like Joy Beshears of "The View" some "evidence" that the Court is somehow in error and somehow controlled by right wing extremists. And unfortunately, there are voters who are dumb enough to believe such an obviously false premise. Cases like this one destroy false premises like that one. And that is the real breakthrough.

Every time a ruling isn't 6-3, the steam behind attacking the sane Justices loses pressure. This also is good for the SCOTUS. If you look at what has been done to Justice Thomas and Justice Kavanaugh, this is a welcome change. While serving on the SCOTUS is indeed a high honor, there's a strong disincentive for brilliant jurists to accept the nomination. Removing, or at least greatly abating, this disincentive is good for the country and thus for the American People. A fair court with competent judges is always better than a terrified court with judges who are too scared to do their job.

Commies and Stupidity

  • AOC is the front runner to run for POTUS on the Communist Party ticket. This tells you a lot. As does the fact they ran Kackling Kamala last time. Apparently, being extremely stupid is a plus in the Communist Party. Then again, communism itself is a radically stupid idea.

  • It's interesting that all of the key people in the Brainless administration were abjectly stupid, while all of the key people in the Trump administration are very bright. The leading communist senators? Stupid. In fact, the commies have only one senator who isn't a complete moron. In the House, same thing except they are all morons.

  • This is the party that trusts Iran to have nuclear weapons but doesn't trust law-abiding American citizens to have firearms. Stupid.

  • This is the party that believes criminals should be protected from their victims, rather than the other way around. Stupid.

  • Make a list of the what the commies want to make happen. It's all stupid. In the extreme.

The commies have replaced brainpower with brutepower. They are brutal toward those they disagree with. And yet, if you have a lick of sense you don't agree with them. Because they are so stupid. What are we to do about this? They are like other unthinking brutes, and we must keep that in mind. They are uncivilized, and they are dangerous. You don't attack a bear mano a mano to keep it away from your food. You hoist your food high into the trees, out of the bear's reach well before it even gets there.

Commies and Hypocrisy

If I wrote about every instance of commie hypocrisy, I would have time for nothing else. So I usually don't write about it. But here's one for the record books. The caretakers of Brainless Biden sued the Justice Department "...to stop the release of audio recordings tied to special counsel Robert Hur's classified documents probe. Biden's lawyers say disclosure would be "an unwarranted invasion" of his privacy." [The Flyover]. During the Communist Occupation, invasion of privacy was a primary Standard Operating Procedure. Not just the raid on Mar A Lago and all the probes into citizen Donald Trump, which was bad enough. Remember the extreme invasions of privacy involved in the Covid Scam? Or the weaponizing of the IRS against conservatives? Or the lack of privacy the J6 victims had after being sentenced by a kangaroo court?

Brainless treated privacy as irrelevant for tens of millions of innocent Americans. So for the Biden Crime family to use privacy as a defense reaches new depths of hypocrisy. One could say Brainless was already executed for his crimes, vis a vis the clot shots that destroyed his already feeble brain, gave him cancer, and accelerated his aging. But that does not negate the culpability of his handlers and co-conspirators. Those people need to be identified and prosecuted.

Commies and Rule of Law

The commies constantly push for things that are unconstitutional or illegal in some other way. When they don't get what they want, instead of respecting democracy and the rule of law they launch personal attacks on those who disagree with them. MTG was a frequent target of SWAT-ing, which is dangerous and disruptive. The latest SWAT-ing attack was aimed at Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

The commies are, generally speaking, deranged imbeciles who believe that laws do not apply to them. They prove this frequently. They are a danger to society, and we must not only lock up the offenders but also determine the root causes of the mental illness (such as the distribution of the New York Times) and solve for those causes.

3. Brainpower tip

I was thinking lately about this question:

Is it possible to become increasingly stupid to the point of no return?

The short answer is yes. We see this all the time. Elizabeth Moron is an example of someone who forayed into the stupidity realm and now is permanently stupid. Nobody wants to end up like that. Some dear reader might now be thinking, "OMG, am I at risk?!"

The good news is it takes a myriad of things to make someone that stupid. Or to make them even 1/10th that stupid. The better news is you can do a myriad of things to keep you free from the stupidity vortex. Actually, there are thousands of things you can do to help protect yourself. These include exercising your brain by coming up with a new dish or variation of a dish a few times per week. Or doing a crossword puzzle at least a couple of times a week.

Any normal person who is a self-sufficient, competent adult is going to have a high degree of protection just by being a a self-sufficient, competent adult. It's a lot of work. And a lot of planning, evaluating, thinking. So you are building your stupidity antibodies just by doing what it takes to competently handle life. However, that alone is not sufficient protection.

You need to reduce your exposure to contamination. It's the contamination that overcomes the antibodies, after all. Here are six of the most radioactive sources:

  1. People with TDS. They are not necessarily bad people, they are just mentally ill. They "sneeze" on other people with their TDS absurdities, thereby spreading infection. Just tell them their TDS views are like sneezing on people when you have a cold, and you don't want to come down with what they have.
  2. The lamestream media. I don't mean not just direct exposure, I also mean exposure to the "repeating stations"--people who unthinkingly believe the BS and then unthinkingly spread it to others. As with TDS, set boundaries.
  3. Passive activities. Practice doesn't make perfect, it makes permanent. Sitting in front of the boob tube every night conditions your cortex to go offline. Which makes you stupid. I think this happened to Elizabeth Moron, too many evenings with the Communist News Network.

  4. Arguments with idiots. Sure, you were brought up to respect other people and their viewpoints. But there are limits. When someone wants to argue that "masking works" or they have to "cut back 15% on food because Trump increased gas prices by invading Iran", you risk contamination. Also, you risk blowing a gasket. Tell these people to learn the basics of a topic so they don't sound like an entry in a stupidity contest when they talk about it. That may seem rude, but actually it is just calling them out on their extremely obnoxious behavior.
  5. Arguments with intelligent people. If the other person has at least the basic facts and is making decent arguments, why would you argue? Rather than treat it like a contest, treat it like a collaboration. Discuss things, seeking not only common ground but also differences. Why the differences, and can they both be right? Or is being right even necessary? One or both of you will learn something, and this kind of exchange is to stupidity what turmeric is to inflammation.
  6. Processed food. Once it's processed, it isn't food. It's brain-damaging, disease-causing garbage. Just consider two classes of processed food:
    1. Sugar "glycates" to neurons, then burns. You can burn a lot of neurons before losing mental capacity, but then again you have only so many to start with. I think this is what happened to Tracy Abrams, who has clearly taken massive doses of sugar her whole life. She probably became terminally stupid before she hit puberty.
    2. Seed oils are made up of jagged edges, due to the lipids shredding during extraction. They are like drag hooks as they circulate in the blood. They rip up brain cells, and we can see the evidence in a type of scar tissue called amyloid plaque. It's the same kind of scar tissue we see in the brains of football players, because in each case it's caused by trauma to the tissue (cutting by the seed oils, blunt force to the footballer brain).

Most of us do not have to worry about becoming progressively stupid past the point of no return. Sure, we have our bad days and our senior moments. Things like stress, distraction, or short-term sleep deprivation can knock us back a bit. But only for a time. There's an adage, "Poor is as poor does." A similar logic applies to terminal stupidity, "Stupid is as stupid does". And you can flip it around to "Smart is as smart does". Don't do what stupid people do, and you don't end up like them. Do what smart people do, and you get smarter and smarter.

4. Finance tip

Here are fifteen common ways that people waste money. The less that you do these things, the more disposable income you have. I couldn't decide whether to write it as "they" do this or "you" do this, then chose "you" though you (dear reader) might not do any of these things.
  • Use paper towels instead of cut-up old shirts or microfiber cloths.
  • Subscribe to a legacy newspaper. Unless you need to line the bottom of a bird cage, you don't need that newspaper.
  • Buy waste can liners when your grocery store provides free plastic bags. If the bags don't fit your waste can, replace the waste can with one that fits the bags.

  • Make special trips to the store, instead of keeping a list (per store) of what you need and then when it's time to get something, make one trip with multiple stops. The lists will help you get things you are about to run out of, so that you don't need to run to the store two days later to get that one item.
  • Making shopping lists on fresh paper. I make all of my shopping lists on scrap paper, spending exactly $0 on list material over the past 50 years.
  • Driving the parking lot aisles looking for a closer spot. This wastes gas and time. Park a bit away from the regular foot traffic and walk briskly for the exercise.

  • Use fertilizer on your lawn. Most people cut the grass too short, leaving not enough leaf to sufficiently feed the roots which then stay tiny. Mow your grass to the correct height with a mulching mower, and you won't have to fertilize.
  • Water your lawn. See the preceding item. Exceptions do exist, for example during excess heat or a draught.
  • Fail to water your trees after an extended dry spell. If it has not rained in a while and a storm is coming, water your trees. This will allow the limbs to flex instead of break.

  • Buy clothes based on how they look individually instead of with what you already have. Buy clothes that you can mix and match for different outfits.
  • Dry your clothes or bedding with the dryer set Medium or higher. This not only wastes electricity (or gas, if you have a gas dryer), it dramatically shortens the life of those fabrics.
  • Use fabric softener. It's rancid fat with petrochemical fragrances. It makes your fabric fibers slimy, not soft. And it causes them to rot faster. Use plain white vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser of your washing machine, and either hang the clothes up to dry or use low heat in the dryer and remove them from the dryer while still slightly damp. Your clothes will last far longer between replacements.

  • Have too many subscriptions. While subscriptions are convenient for you, they also lock you into buying behavior. Make a point to check each one, not just the most expensive ones. A $14/month subscription seems like it can't really hurt, but that's $168/year and what if you have three of them? It adds up! So do those subscription upgrades for your Internet Access, phone, etc. Why can't you have the cheapest plan and how many hours do you work to pay for a year of those add-ons?
  • Treat autoship as "one and done". It's tempting to use Amazon's Subscribe 'N' Save feature, and it can actually save you money. But you need to monitor it to avoid stealth money waste. If you see that you are stocking up on something because it is arriving faster than you use it up, increase the weeks between deliveries. This is true of other autoships, too.
  • Get an autoship for your printer. What happens is you get all these cartridges and then your printer fails. My last three were HP printers, and each died prematurely. With the first two, I had an Office Depot autoship for ink that I could not stop despite many attempts. I ended up with a year's supply of cartridges and no printer to use them in.

5. Security tip

Telescammers do massive financial damage to millions of individuals and businesses each year, often breaking the victim beyond any hope of recovery. They also are annoying, because so many of them call. They rob all of us of our time, and they rob many people of their entire nest egg.

You might get a locksmith to install the most secure locks on your burglar-resistant doors and still get robbed by a phone burglar. You can also install an alarm system, live with a pair of trained Rottweilers, have a firearm under a dozen pieces of furniture, have cameras everywhere, and still lose everything. Instead of breaking into your house with a crowbar, lock pick, or "jimmy" and stealing maybe a few thousand dollars of electronic or jewelry, they break into your house with lies and steal your bank accounts and sometimes your house too.

So none of those anti-burglary methods will protect you from phone robbers. How do you protect yourself? Here are some tips to handle these sociopaths.

Preventing the ring

  • Don't sign up for sweepstakes. These are funded by "list rental" which means they sell your contact information to anyone who wants to buy it.
  • Avoid giving out your phone number. Just because someone asks for it doesn't mean you need to give it.
  • If it's a landline, you probably have a browser-based UI that will let you control spam calling protection and also block selected numbers. See if you can add NoMoRobo or a similar service.
  • If it's a mobile, you have the option of blocking specific numbers and reporting specific text spammers--right on your phone. There are also many apps that help with spam calling. But it is better to use your providers' tools; go on their website and/or get their app and then use whatever they have that looks like it will work for you.

Handling the ring

  • You are under no obligation to even look at your phone just because it rings. If you can't say  no, then disable the ring entirely.
  • Look at your Caller ID. If it says "Name Unavailable" then you are also unavailable. Pay attention to the patterns, and you will develop the ability to spot a spam call just by looking at the fake name on your screen.
  • If possible, set up special ring tones for people you want to hear from anytime they call. Then ignore all other rings. But rather than have 16 different ring tones and trying to keep them sorted, pick one ringtone that indicates the caller is pre-approved.
  • Make sure your kids, dog, and cat know not to answer the phone (same as you taught them not to open the door for people while you are gone, though the cat seems to forget this sometimes).

If you pick up

  • Ask him for his telemarketer license number. When he says he doesn't have one, ask why he's telemarketing without a license and tell him it's a felony. Then hang up. He'll probably be stupid enough to ask his boss about it.
  • Don't give them anything. If it's a cause that you support, you might be tempted to donate since they have you on the phone anyhow. This will get your name and number on the "list rental" list. That list rental is the main income source for these intermediate companies that conduct phone spam as a service to the charities and such that hire them. Also, you validate to the charity or whatever that this method reaches people and you thus contribute to legitimizing the telemarketing /spamming / harassing industry.
  • If you receive a spam text, reply with "Wrong Number" before blocking it; do this enough times, and you get taken off the list.
  • If it's a phone bot offering options, wait for the one that will tell them to stop calling you. This option isn't presented all the time, but using it really helps.

If a repeat offender keeps calling

Say it's one of those debt-peddling companies. You block their number, and they call back from a different one. You've told them many times not to call you. During the Communist Occupation, I got a lot of calls like this.

At first, they were all from no-name "lenders" who "offer capital" at 3X credit card rates. While I hope all of the people working at such places are infertile and thus won't breed another generation of cockroaches, I still have had to deal with them in the here and now. So what I do is tell them I can't process numbers over the phone and to send me the information via e-mail. Then they want my e-mail address and I hang up on them. Or I would do something else to let them know to leave me alone. For example, I would tell them that only a complete moron would sign a contract with them. And then hang up.

That was at first. But then, PayPal started this same behavior with me. A company I have always trusted. I didn't want to alienate them, so my approach has been different. "We are not accepting any new debt in 2026. We might be open to something up to 3% APR, in the second quarter of 2027. Calling me before then is a complete waste of your time." They have stopped calling me.

Handling the most common abusers

How do you think I handle all the calls about Medicare, car warranties, Social Security, IRS refunds, timeshares, and various other scams?

  • My dad used to handle these by sounding as sick as possible and saying he was dying of cancer. I don't like it that he did this, but not for the reason you might think. One time he was doing a "live replay" for me and apparently started choking for real. Then he drank some water and was fine until I got him laughing about it. He did the  =wheeze= and =cough= for a bit.
  • One tactic a friend of mine uses is to say "Well, you called for Jack but he passed away yesterday. I'm here with his family. Retards like you call for Jack about every 10 minutes. It's horribly cruel of you." Then he hangs up.

Here is how I reduced this incoming sewage leak by 90%. I wrote a long and hilarious voicemail message that names these scams and makes the point that I don't want what they are selling. I delivered it with a lot of energy, starting with the first word, "Helllll-oooooooo." Then I set my phone to go right to voicemail for a few days. But doesn't this mean any legitimate caller has wait through that three minute outgoing message to leave you a voice message? Nope. There are four ways to bypass it. Experiment to find out which works with your phone, then tell them which one works with your number. As soon as the voicemail prompt starts, enter #, *, 1, or 7. It's one of those.

  • When the spambot reaches your voicemail, it doesn't want to be tied up for three minutes. Or even 30 seconds. It will hang up when it detects voicemail. But to do that, it must recognize the typical pattern of a bored voice saying to leave your name and number. Speaking in an animated voice and saying something totally unexpected that fits no voicemail pattern will tie it up for the full three minutes and sometimes longer. I think my record is 17 minutes. I check voicemails on my VOIP provider's site. I don't have to open them or listen to them, they appear in a list along with their duration.
  • When a human telemarketer reaches your voicemail, he doesn't have time to listen to it. But he's expecting maybe 45 seconds and intends to wait it out and ask you to call back. After he wastes a full minute, he hangs up and goes on to the next potential victim. This is a small victory for you. If he's stupid enough to listen to the whole thing and still leave a message, the size of your victory has increased.

If you just cannot stop the onslaught

If they just keep calling you no matter what you do, the nuclear option is to change your number without forwarding. Unfortunately, your new number can be discovered in many ways even if you get a private listing. And it's a real hassle.

You can try this to "decapture" your number by making it nonfunctional.

  1. Alert your normal circle of friends that they cannot leave you voicemail for at least a month.
  2. Get a Google Voice account.
  3. Disable voicemail on your normal phone.
  4. Set your phone to forward to that Google Voice account after 4 rings or whatever is comfortable for you. This will allow you to pick up your phone if you want to take the call.
  5. Set your Google Voice account to forward to your normal phone, selecting the maximum interval.
  6. This loop will decapture your number from most systems.

An alternative: Simply unplug the phone cable from your handset or turn the ringer off. Set voicemail to off, and this will "ring" (at the caller's end) with never being answered. If a mobile, you can also turn the ringer off and turn off voicemail. The limitation here is you can't answer an incoming call.

See all of my climbing videos here: https://tinyurl.com/ClimbingSigChannel. Some cool climbing  videos:

My hardest climb ever, a 5.11d on lead: https://youtu.be/UT5h0heUUBc . I made a dumb mistake initially, letting the rope wrap over my shoulder. Watch what happens.

The scale:

  • Beginner: 5.6. 5.7. 5.8, 5.9  (roped) / VV, V0, V1, V2 (boulder)
  • Intermediate: 5.10a, b, c, d ;5.11a, b, c, d  / V3, V4, V5, V6
  • Advanced: 5.12a, b, c, d; 5.13a, b, c, d. / V7, V8, V9, V10.
  • Elite and Pro: Even harder. Almost nobody climbs at either level at any of the 6 local climbing gyms.

I review products for Amazon Vine. They'll present me with some items they say are based on my profile and my interests. Things like maternity dresses and women's skin care products. But sometimes they actually do offer items that are based on my profile and my interests. Things like power tools and men's long-sleeve shirts. Then there are the things that they might think fit my profile and interests but actually do not. And I want to talk about that kind of product now.

It's called the pre-workout supplement or as they now say, "pre-sup". I used to try various such supplements, which in the early days were usually a mix of creatine, beta alinine, and L-arginine. Most manufacturers added a flavoring. But then I learned that it does not matter exactly when you ingest these things. As long as they are in your system, you're good. I also learned that you absorb creatine a lot better, without any gas, bloating, or discomfort, if you ingest it across the day. So there is no reason to drink half a liter of fluid right before you do a set of front squats unless you want to imitate GH Bush at the Japanese Prime Minister's dinner in 1992.

Demand for these products started to fall as people realized the products didn't magically do anything. Then companies like BSN started adding strong flavors, carbonation, and caffeine. Lots of caffeine.

On average, a cup of coffee has 100 mg of caffeine. If you drink three cups in the AM, that's 300 mg. A lot of that stimulant is offset by the fact your circadian rhythm has not yet put you into full awakeness. But still, that is a hard push on the caffeine throttle.

One popular pre-sup made by a company whose name I won't mention (because I already did), has 400 mg. A very heavy push. Some other products have even more. If the poor slob taking this before his lunch hour workout also took a Sudafed, had coffee in the morning, and drank a Red Bull at break, his adrenal glands and kidneys are already in severe stress. And he's going to then pull the three levers for hypertrophy--one of which is metabolic stress? This is a very risky thing to do.

Is that caffeine going to help you work out better? Nope. It will cause you to make mistakes because your mind and nervous system are in an altered state. You will not correctly sense your condition at the start of a set, you will lack the proprioception to have correct form, your sense of time will be altered such that your tempo will be off. And the buzz will distract you from the mind-body connection if the pounding in your head doesn't do that first.

But many people report improved workouts with pre-sups. True, they report that. They are basing this on the fact they lifted heavier weight than without it and/or, "I felt so energized!". Which means they were on a drug high which caused them to recruit non-target muscles, cheat the range, use momentum, etc. The reality is they put less tension on the target muscles, not more.

They also missed the all-important gaging a serious trainer does before a session. After which the person decides how hard to push it for optimum results (harder is not always better). Here's an example. I climb on Sundays, so leg day is always on Monday (as far from the next climbing session as I can put it). Because climbing movement and load are so varied, I have no idea what Leg Day is going to be like until I am ready to start it.

I do some body weight squats, to test my legs. I gage my general energy level. I identify what's sore and stiff versus what's not. After this inventory, I work out a rough plan that is based on my intended workout. The variance is something like I decide to do only three sets of bench step-ups instead of four. Then as I go, I gage how I feel. If I do a particular exercise and feel fatigued the whole way through the first set or there is sharp pain, I know the involved muscle cells are already damaged. So I make a change, maybe dropping that exercise or doing a modified version of it. The result is I almost always have the most productive workout possible for me on that given day and I almost never over-train.

None of this sensing, processing, and adapting can take place if your senses and mind are altered by "speed" (which is what a large dose of caffeine is). People who overdose on caffeine find they don't make real progress but they do have sore tendons and other problems. They tried to take the easy way out, but when it comes to training there is no easy way.

That big guy on the bottle label? Odds are he'll be dead in ten years from all damage the steroids did to his heart and kidneys. You'll never look like he looks, no matter how much of the pre-sup you take.

If you have a heavily caffeinated pre-sup and don't want to toss it out, fine. But take only a quarter dose and only after your workout, not before. The main reason for this switch? If you are training correctly you will be driving your metabolic stress to the red line. If the caffeine moves the line down from where it should be, you put yourself at risk of cardiac arrest. Other types of blow-out are also more likely. Once your engine is no longer revving, it's much safer to indulge in some extra caffeine. Of course, if you do your workouts less than 12 hours before bed then you don't take the pre-sup at all. Or maybe have a quarter dose with breakfast, instead of having coffee.

At www.supplecity.com, you'll find plenty of informative, authoritative articles on maintaining a lean, strong physique. It has nothing to do with long workouts or impossible to maintain diets. In fact:

  • The best workouts are short and intense.
  • A good diet contains far more flavors and satisfaction than the typical American diet.

7. Factoid

Libtards and commies don't engage in reasoned debate. They react to differing views by getting abusive and even violent. To sway others, they resort to this behavior because they are low-information people with insignificant, if any, reasoning skills and therefore cannot make a rational case for whatever idiocy that is their current viewpoint. They live in a delusional state instead of in reality, so the truth upsets them.

Over a century ago, Teddy Roosevelt perfectly captured the result in the quote below.

8. Thought for the Day

"To anger a conservative, lie to him. To anger a liberal, tell him the truth". -- Teddy Roosevelt
