1. Good News: Where the Intel is Good
Celebrating Freedom
- Marvin Peavy of Florida is celebrating freedom:
https://twitter.com/i/status/1898543824995274767
- During the communist occupation of the USA, the previous
(Trump) administration's aggressive program to stop human trafficking was
replaced with things like "use the wrong pronouns" programs,
indoctrinating children to be racist, and an aggressive program to
stop Title IX protection for female athletes. Since Liberation Day,
we are back to stopping human trafficking. And recently, federal
authorities busted one of the biggest rings ever. This ring had
smuggled at least 20,000 illegal aliens from Guatemala since 2019.
- Had it not been for the coup that put Brainless in the White
House, the aforementioned ring would have been smashed four years ago.
That coup was accomplished through egregious election fraud, and
mail-in voting of fake ballots was what put Brainless over the top
in each of the battleground states. When 83% of the mail-in ballots
that come in after the polls closed are for the mentally retarded
candidate who couldn't articulate a complete sentence, you'd have to
be a moron to think there wasn't any cheating.
The lamestream media has insisted that "election" was fair, claiming mail-in voting
may have some minor irregularities but is pretty much immune to
cheating. Just this month, three men in Pennsylvania (a 2020
battleground state that Brainless "won") were indicted on 16 counts
of election fraud in an effort to steal the 2021 election for the
Mayor of Millbourne, PA. Mail-in voting fraud was core to their
scheme and yes, they were "Democrats".
- The Millbourne case is irrefutable proof that the "Democrats"
(commies) use election fraud at both ends of the political spectrum
(federal at one end, municipal at the other). You'd have to be a
moron to think they aren't stealing elections at all of the levels
in between. In fact, we have proof of stealing for House seats in
The People's Republic of California (they claim a bomb scare, then
go in and tamper with the votes while the polls are temporarily
closed). If we had election integrity, the federal legislature would
have a far smaller commie component. State legislatures, ditto. How
many state governors would be some party other than communist? It
seems obvious to me that someone as odious and destructive as
Gruesome Newsome is in office only due to fraud. Same thing with
Wretched Gretchen.
- You can bet that some powerful people are connecting these same
dots. Election integrity reforms are going to accelerate. And the
commies will protest that these are "a threat to our democracy." We
have seen what THEIR democracy is like, and it's awful. The four
years of communist occupation, with its censorship, lawfare,
intolerance of dissent, and extreme gas lighting showed use that
THEIR democracy excludes the average person. The economic, social,
public safety, and other consequences of that were horrific. So
there is very strong incentive to "stop the steal" and restore free,
honest elections in the USA.
- DOGE update from my Congresswoman, Marjorie Taylor Greene:
https://greene.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=938
- This is heartwarming:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXH2vXsAnRg
- The Department of Diseducation, which took the USA from having
the highest literacy rate in the world to being dead last among
industrialized nations (and behind even some third-world countries, is laying off about half of its
employee base. This Department has had the same effect on education
as the tobacco companies have had on lung cancer. I can hardly wait
for the other half to be laid off. And that wait may not be long. On
20 March, President Trump signed and Executive Order to begin the
orderly dismantling of this stupidity-producing federal department.
- It seems that Jew-hating stopped being our official government
policy after Liberation Day. Columbia University, which failed to
follow up on a rash of anti-Semitism, has just lost $400 million of
federal funding. They have a total of $5 billion in federal funding
commitments, and those are at risk also. Secretary of Education
Linda McMahon said, “Universities must comply with all federal
antidiscrimination laws if they are going to receive federal
funding. For too long, Columbia has abandoned that obligation to
Jewish students studying on its campus. Today, we demonstrate to
Columbia and other universities that we will not tolerate their
appalling inaction any longer."
- Sylvester Turner, a communist who misrepresented the 18th
Congressional District of Texas, died at age 70 earlier this month.
Governor Greg Abbott will decide when a special election takes
place. The outcome of that election may be consequential for the
balance of power in the House. There are currently 214 commies, 218
Republicans, and 3 vacant seats. Disgust with the communist party is
at an all-time high, and their nefarious deeds have gotten massive
exposure lately. So there is a strong chance Turner's seat will be
filled by someone other than an America-hating communist. The other
two vacancies were left by Republicans in Florida, and those seats
will almost certainly go to Republicans if the right
candidates are selected to run for them. That would give the
Republicans 221 seats.
There are five actual Democrats left in the communist party, and
if they leave the communist party that will leave the commies with
209 seats. That is far from giving the Republicans a super majority,
but they can pick up three more in The People's Republic of
California if even basic election integrity measures are either
enacted by law or made to happen buy volunteer poll watchers. The
President's address to Congress was masterful, and the responses of
the commies underlined just how bad those people are. Aside from a
few cesspool centers, Republicans will win in any House election
where basic election integrity measures are enforced and fewer than
half the voters are completely stupid. That would mean a
supermajority for the Republicans.
Places like Trans Francisco will always vote stupidly, but places
like Brooklyn and south Chicago are turning red as the victims of
commie policies are realizing they have been duped and are speaking
out about it. All of which means places like Trans Francisco will
soon be irrelevant to national politics. We won't have another
America-hating Nutcase Nancy coming from there to bulldoze our
economy, provide protection for violent offenders, advocate for
child mutilation, and undermine Title IX.

The C*O*V*I*D Scam
- It looks like Iowa is banning gene-based "vaccines". Since the
history of these is that they essentially infect you with the
pathogen, this makes sense. We know that Vitamin D is safe and
effective, we know these "vaccines" are neither.
- We now have a total of 9 states banning the fake "vaccine" that
got emergency authorization via fraud. If not for the censorship
during the Brainless regime, we would have been at this point
- by
early 2021 and spared millions of Americans the severe harms
(including death) caused by what has turned out to be a population
control product.
Public Health
- We recently engaged in the population control measure known as
the twice-annual clock change. It would be more humane to control
the USA population by ending illegal immigration. Ending this
barbaric sleep-deprivation method has the backing of President Trump
and lawmakers in the House and Senate. Ending it will boost American
productivity and save a few thousand lives per year while also
eliminating a few hundred thousand severe injuries and mutilations.
It is time to stop treating American citizens as if we are POWs in
WWII-era Japanese prisoner camps.
- Utah is set to be the first state to ban fluoridating water.
Fluoride is a toxic byproduct of making aluminum, and selling it to
municipalities as somehow battling tooth decay was a great boon to
the aluminum industry. With the new tariffs balancing things out
against foreign competitors, poisoning our population this way is no
longer needed by this vital industry.
- Arkansas is now the first state to require schools to provide
age-appropriate firearms safety training. This applies to public
schools and open-enrollment public charter schools. The NRA already
has the Eddie Eagle Program that is doing the same thing. The NRA
has been doing this as a public service, it is the only organization
(until now) that has done anything about firearm safety for
children. For youngsters who encounter an unsecured firearm (perhaps
in a friend's home), the theme is "Don't touch, tell an adult."
Several prominent communists have vowed to "end the NRA," maybe it's
really the little kids they hate.
- During the communist occupation, the HHS website had text that
basically said you were mentally ill if you chose to defend yourself
against violent criminals but perfectly sane if you chose to defend
violent criminals against their intended victims. This great lie has
been removed from the HHS website, thanks to President Trump. It is
a big gain for the Second Amendment but even more of a big gain for
public safety.
Looming Recession?
A recession is a "receding" of the economy. It is defined as two consecutive quarters in which GDP growth is
negative.
It is a meaningless term on that basis alone, but also because
GDP can easily be manipulated. For example, let's say GDP growth in Q1
was 1%. So on the books you move 2% of the Q1 output to Q2, giving Q1 a
negative growth but starting Q2 at 2%. Even if you have a negative growth
of 2% in Q2,
you're good because you're at zero not below it. If you don't hit your
numbers, you can slide some Q3 growth projections into Q2
and claim them as actual while in Q2.
Making this number even less meaningful is government spending is
counted as GDP. But it's not actually output. Think about how DOGE is
strengthening the economy by reducing federal waste, but GDP counts this
as a negative. GDP has long been a ginned-up number, which is yet
another reason a recession is a non-event. It's a fiction based on other
fictions.
Now the commies are trying to scare us by saying Trump will
cause a non-event (a recession). This is a laugh, considering that the
commies put us in an economic depression more than three years ago and
kept it going all that time. By definition, a depression lasts longer
than three years or includes a GDP drop of at least 10%. This depression
meets BOTH criteria (if you exclude from the GDP stats government
spending and sandwich-making--yes, back during the Obama era they
started counting fast food burgers as "manufacturing") . This depression also meets the other criteria (e.g., massive
unemployment, sharp drop in production, increased poverty), and it
included a two year period in which inflation exceeded 100%.
But because the communist-controlled media wanted to hide what the
commies were doing to our economy, they pretended the Depression does
not exist. So even though 80% of people know our economy is in trouble,
very few understand just how much trouble and how bad it is. Which is
good for business, because people carry on with their lives and buy
things. But the Depression is headed for a cliff, and we need to fix it
while we can still pay the ever-growing interest on our ever-growing
national debt.
Don't worry about a recession, as it is a non-event. Instead, show
support for fixing our economic depression. That depression is a huge event, and
it's one that Brainless and his commie cohorts caused. It is an event
that Trump and his A-Team are fixing.
Don't worry about a drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, aka
"the markets". The Dow is just an index of only 30 stocks. These 30 are
picked by newspaper people, a cohort not exactly known for being smart.
Especially when it comes to math. Those are 30 stocks out of the 2301
listed on the NYSE. And the NYSE is just one of 21 stock exchanges
in the world. To draw any meaning from the Dow is to engage in Ouija
board guesswork. This is a number that is best ignored. It's as
meaningless as "recession", except for its ability to strike fear into
the hearts of those who have no clue what it means.
Need more assurance this recession hocus pocus has no relation to
reality? Manufacturing output last month was triple what the government
predicted. So there. And it was Trump's first full month in office. Wait
until you see what the other months bring!
Job Creation?
The commies also like to parade their "employment" numbers. During
the communist occupation, more jobs were destroyed than were created.
The commies kept creating BS jobs to inflate the jobs report, but
85% of the new jobs during the occupation where tied directly to
government spending. Small businesses have always been the real engine
of job growth, but small business owners are overwhelmingly conservative
so we were targeted for elimination. Something like 63% of small
businesses went under during the occupation. Some of these were
suppliers to my company, and I knew them personally. Good, well-run
businesses that had been around for decades. Gone.
Don't worry about a negative "jobs" report, since the commies have
been flat-out lying about unemployment, employment, and job creation for
many years. Laying off thousands of parasites whose pointless jobs have
no function that serves taxpayers in any way will cause the jobs report
to appear as if we are losing ground when we are really not.
Inflation
When you hear politicians and the media talk about "inflation", you
have to translate that into English. They do not mean inflation at all.
What the mean is a general rise in prices, something that economists
call "price inflation" to distinguish it from actual inflation.
Economists now call actual inflation "monetary inflation" to further
prevent confusion.
The commies said the tariffs would:
- Cause a recession. Wrong, that is caused only by not cooking the
books. And it means nothing (see above).
- Increase inflation. By this, they meant "cause prices to
generally rise". The opposite has happened.
Tax Cuts for the Wealthy?
The commies continue to amaze me with this idiotic claim. The main
feature of the 2017 Tax Cut Act (it actually has a longer name) is the
huge standard deduction. Which is indexed to "inflation" (the general
increase in prices, more accurately called price inflation). What it
means is your taxable income is reduced by that amount (or put another
way, that amount is excluded from taxation). Someone making a
very low income would see a very large benefit from this in terms of how
much their tax bill is reduced. The top 10% of income earners would
would see a tiny benefit relative to their income.
The same commies who keep spewing this lie had no qualms about a
massive tax INCREASE for everyone, something that fell very heavily on
the poor. To pay for their Green New Scam and other spending binges, the
Fed counterfeited trillions of dollars. That is, they inflated the money
supply dramatically thus debauching the currency dramatically. What
hypocrites and liars. Just one more reason to dissuade people from
voting Democrat; doing so is costly and has zero benefit except to the
criminal class.
2026 Mid-term Elections
- The Democrat Party has had a strong socialist element for the past
120 years. But it went completely communist, with no diversity or
dissension, when it put an illegal alien into the Oval Office via
massive election cheating in the 2008 election. We may as well call it
the American Communist Party (ACP). Its primary mission, as stated by
the illegal alien, is to "fundamentally transform America". That turned
out to be an eight year long attack on our civil liberties, our economy,
and the safety of our cities. It relied on racism, coercion, deception, division, and blatant
propaganda. Then along came the 2016 election, which Hillary lost to
Trump despite massive cheating by her side. A new mission was added,
"Hate Trump". These two core principles of the ACP are now the basis for
everything they say and do.
- Consequently, the ACP members who are governors, members of Congress,
and prominent unelected officials are behaving in ways that are
repugnant and disgusting to ordinary people. Their behavior during
Trump's address to Congress showed them to be petulant, American
citizen-hating, negative, heartless sociopaths. Anecdote after anecdote
showcases this behavior, such as the recent instance of an American
citizen being burned to death on the subway by a repeat offender illegal
alien they should have already deported. Their defiance of the federal
orders (under the common sense administration of President Trump) to
deport violent illegal aliens instead of release them into society has
terrible costs that real people pay for with their lives. And we all
know this now.
- Such a horrible death for that woman on the subway, yet Governor
Hochul continues to follow Hate Trump instead of "govern New York". She
will lose in 2026, because her many acts of hatred against New Yorkers
will be widely publicized on "alternative" media (which now has a far
larger audience than the untrusted legacy media). There is nowhere for
her to hide, and nothing she can say will save her in her election bid.
But aren't New Yorkers so stupid they will always choose a commie? No.
NYC itself has had several Republican mayors in my time, and when
Nutcase Nancy appeared on stage at some event in NYC, she was soundly
booed. Trump held an election rally in Brooklyn last year, and was
warmly received by a huge audience. New York City could turn red in
2026, and if the commies continue to operate based solely on their
hatred of Americans, that city and the whole state will turn red (absent
enough election fraud to disenfranchise the voters).
- Another election killer for the commies is the Senate killed a bill
that would ban men from women's sports. The vote was along party lines,
with the commies 100% against Title IX protections and Republicans 100%
for those protections. By election season next year, the anecdotes of
female athletes suffering from severe injury, being denied athletic
scholarships, and having to share locker rooms with naked men will have
added up to a huge body of evidence (even more so than now). No sane
person can support a politician who has such low regard for women, and
many of those politicians are women! This one issue by itself is enough
to tilt an otherwise close election.
- As the commies continue to communicate that Americans have no value
and America itself is a blemish on human history, they will set the
stage for a massive loss of existing seats at all levels of government.
Since they no longer have the power of censorship (thank you, Elon
Musk!), they cannot control the narrative. Their attempts to start their
own alternative media have failed, and a big reason for that is they
value ideological conformity over competence. Anyone stupid enough to
embrace their ideology isn't very competent. This fact is why they are
so fearful of meritocracy.
- Many commies are abandoning ship, not wanting to waste time
running again next year. For example, Comrade Jeanne Shaheen is one
of the two Senators from New Hampshire. This leaves Comrade Margaret
“Maggie” Hassan plus an open seat that will likely be filled by a
Republican. New Hampshire also has two commie House Representatives.
- Tim Walz, the hapless communist who ran the disastrous commie
campaign with Kackling Kamala, has decided to go on tour to "get our
message out." This is wonderful news for the Republicans, because
Walz is embarrassingly stupid, patently delusional, and grossly
dishonest. Voters heard this message earlier, and soundly rejected
it. Walz is going to remind people of why voting for a Democrat is a
terribly bad idea. Thanks, Tim, for your unintentional support of
MAGA. We could easily do without you, but we do appreciate all you
do for us through your own ineptness and stupidity.
- The Communist News Network's Data Chief delivers "shocking" news
about just how low the communist party's approval rating is:
https://twitter.com/i/status/1902058792960885068. It is probably
a lot worse than this, since CNN is so sycophantic to the
communists. As they continue their campaign of hatred against
America and anyone who actually cares about it, they will continue
to lose ground with voters. Burning people's Teslas isn't the
answer, but they are trying that too.
- We now know the Tesla burnings are organized. By someone. Elon
Musk asks about this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03-FBV1T1Lc
- The Lincoln Project, part of the communist echo chamber
propaganda machine, has offered yet another paid subscription (the
commies are desperate for campaign funds). Rather than raise money,
it has raised ire. The same commie fan club members that were fine
with ripping us off trillions of dollars at a time are now balking
at being required to fork over a few dollars a month for their
propaganda fix. Words like "grift" are being used, especially by the
elderly supporters who are keenly feeling the effects of the four
year communist occupation. They aren't blaming Trump this time, and
that is progress! Yet another demographic waking up to reality, and
that does not bode well for the commies in the 2026 elections. Their
only choice now is to amp up the cheating so badly they grossly
overplay their hand and make election reform a hot topic that even
the legacy media won't be able to downplay.
Waste, Fraud, and Corruption
- Check out this chart:
https://www.theepochtimes.com/article/6-charts-that-explain-doge-related-cuts-so-far-5817345
- Millions of people allegedly over the age of 120 have been
receiving Social Security checks. And one of them is over the age of
150! The commies now claim those people are on the rolls but not
necessarily receiving benefits.
- Congressman Brandon Gill on downsizing the bloated federal
bureacracy:
https://twitter.com/i/status/1898110405437735058
- Gill has also initiated a petition calling for the deportation
of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who has been advising illegal aliens
from Somalia on how to evade detection by ICE. Omar has been
strongly anti-America since winning her seat in the House (no doubt
via election fraud) and has even said publicly she is Somalian first
and American second.
The Communist Party
- The communists call themselves "Democrats", though democracy is
something they vigorously oppose. A "centrist" group of Democrats
recently met at a retreat (the "Comeback Retreat) and they decided that
the party comes across as judgmental and elitist. One clue they have no
clue is they produced a 5-page document of take-aways. In other words,
they obfuscated anything useful instead of focusing on a few actionable
items.
- Another clue they have no clue is they want to "reduce the influence
of far-left factions." The whole communist party one massive far-left
faction. The purity tests, radical opposition to any kind of diversity,
and brutal punishment for not being 100% within the ideological
narrative have made it that way. And those things have made the
communist party repugnant to working class people, small business
owners, and even the tech moguls. These so-called centrists are
delusional, because they are such a tiny minority within the communist
party. They can make all the noise they want, but like others who can't
stand the stupidity, dishonesty, hypocrisy, and inhumanity of the
communist party their best bet is to join the Republican Party.
- The communist party will continue to foment for social destruction
(e.g., men competing in women's sports, the genital mutilation of
children, racism), economic destruction (tax dollar waste, idiotic
regulations, massive spending boonddoggles), environmental damage (so-called green energy instead of
clean gas, diverting water to the ocean so it can't be used to fight
raging fires), anti-science (the nonsense they spewed during the
C*O*V*I*D scam), expansion of harmful federal agencies (IRS, CDC,. FDA, BATF, FEMA), pointless wars,
the neutralization of our military, abetting an invasion of violent
criminals via open borders, pro violent criminal policies ("gun
control", anti-police, and refusal to prosecute offenders), the destruction of Israel, and perfidious
attacks on Christians among many other things that sane people soundly
reject.
- Yet they will not push forward a single idea or policy that is
helpful. In other words, they are 100% bad. And much of that bad is
really, really bad.
- Political parties are supposed to present acceptable alternative options, where
you choose between collections of good and bad. For example, you might
not like the Libertarian Party's stance on drugs but you prefer its
stance on regulations to that of the Republican Party. You wouldn't
embrace either party 100% because each has its downsides. But you
wouldn't outright reject either party because each has its upsides. For
a thinking person, it would be a hard choice except for the fact that
only a Republican can defeat a communist in an election (due to the
communist election fraud). But in this analysis and comparison scenario,
the communists offer only bad policy with not even one tiny upside.
- There's no saving the communist party, it is rotten to its core. What
we can do to hasten its demise is red pill its adherents. A powerful way
to do that is to point out instances of where their gas lighting sources
(e.g., CNN, NYT) are flat-out lying to them. If we destroy the
lamestream media, we take the legs out from the communist party.
The Ukraine Proxy War That the Commies Love
- I read a "news" item stating that Senator Lisa Murkowski "joined
Democrats" in criticizing President Trump for his handling of
USA-Ukrainian relations after the Oval Office meeting with Zelenskyy.
It would be news if Murkowski joined Republicans in something.
Anything. It's not news that she sides with the Democrats, she
should just declare herself a Democrat just as her voting record
already does.
- The communists' beloved three-year war has left more than a
million combatants dead or wounded and has displaced more than ten
million civilians. The UN estimates rebuilding Ukraine will cost
more than $500B over a decade. The UN always underestimates these
things, and it has not commented on the cost to Russia. The drone
strikes alone have severely damaged refineries, railways, and other
vital infrastructure. And it will take several generations to
replace the numbers of people killed on both sides. The total cost
is in the trillions of dollars, and then there's the sheer terror
and misery of living in a war zone.
Stopping the bird flu
The current policy is to kill any potential victims. This is idiotic
on its face. Using this illogic, we should kill all the children in a
given zip code if one of them catches a flu. How about using this as a
military strategy? Kill your own soldiers so they don't die in combat.
OK, it's stupid beyond belief. So maybe we can take a cue from the CDC,
what do you say?
Based on how the CDC handled one particular flu:
- Keep the chickens six feet apart.
- Make them wear masks.
- Subject them to psychological stress, all the time.
- Discourage any kind of social interaction.
- Give them an experimental medication multiple times to
desensitize their immune system against the virus.
- Trick them into subsisting on junk food, instead of eating what
they need to stay well.
Hmm. That didn't work so well, did it?
Here is how to stop all avian flus:
- Give them Ivermectin. This seems to cure about 50,000 different
ailments.
- Beef up the nutrient density of their food. Give them fruits and
vegetables that are high in vitamin C. This can be subsidized by the
same government that is paying scandalous amounts to simply kill
them all and let God sort them out.
- Make social interaction easy for the chickens, they are social
creatures.
- Give homeless people jobs helping to care for the chickens,
including cleaning chores. In return, they get a shower, new
clothes, a clean place to sleep, five meals a day, and a work
history. City and county governments can pay for this instead
of wasting money in other ways on the homeless. Set some boundaries
so these people are treated with dignity instead of being exploited.
- Quarantine any sick birds, and release them into the general
population once the illness has run its course. They will have
natural immunity.
How do I know the above works? It's based on science, unlike the flim-flam
peddled by the CDC. I have used the same principles (nutrition and
cleanliness) to live illness-free for over half a century.

3. Brainpower tip
I've been teaching the National Electrical Code (NEC) for many years. It's
complex and is easily misunderstood. That's not the fault of the Code Making
Panels, it's that the safe application of electricity is a complex endeavor.
The NEC has a very logical arrangement, and understanding that arrangement is
the key to understanding the NEC. There are nine Chapters, and inside each
Chapter is a series of Articles. These always have three digits, with the first
digit being the same as the Chapter. For example, Article 430 (motors) is in
Chapter 4. Chapter 1 begins with Article 100.
The funny thing about Article 100 is people tend to skip right past it. This
is a colossal mistake, because Article 100 contains the definitions of words as
they are used in the NEC. Not as you might assume them to be defined, but
defined as they are used in the NEC. Thus, a "conductor" has a very specific
meaning rather than what it means in the general lexicon of society. One reason
I know that many NEC users skip past Article 100 is they misuse the word
"conduit". That's another story, I guess.
Why do I bring this up?
Because people who adhere to libtard ideologies misuse words when spreading
those ideologies. They adhere to those ideologies because they never asked the
other spreaders what they meant by this or that word.
An example of this is "assault weapon". We don't want to take away your guns,
we just want to eliminate assault weapons. Whew! What a relief, I'm totally
behind eliminating something that sounds so dangerous! Except, what is an
assault weapon? They have never defined it. Which means they just want to take
away our guns.
Another example is "green energy". There's no technically-based definition.
Oh, but we mean renewable energy. Hmm. So those wind turbine blades are
renewable? No, those go into landfills. OK, so the concrete used to build the
wind tower base (and it's a lot of concrete for obvious reasons) is renewable,
along with the CO2 required to make the concrete? No, it just has to stay in the
ground. So what is renewable? Wait, I've got it. The gasoline used to power the
maintenance trucks!
Do you know what is our greenest energy source that's even modestly scalable?
Natural gas. Remember when Brainless killed the Keystone Pipeline?
People who fail to understand the definitions of the words being used cannot
intelligently participate in a discussion. So insist on those definitions. "You
used the word insurrection to describe the January 6 guided tours of unarmed
citizens through the Capital. Can you please clarify what you mean by
insurrection and then explain how this term does not apply to the Democrats who
bombed occupied police cars, drove SUVs through store windows, and tossed bombs
into occupied apartments?"
During the four years of communist occupation, I heard a lot of communist
propaganda. Not once did I come across a single assertion in which the words
were used in a way that commonly understood definitions would apply. And yet,
there was no Communist Glossary to guide us as to what they actually were saying
or meant. Which means that in an argument with a commie, you just need to force
a definition or two from them to collapse their entire position. |
4. Finance tip
Many people mistakenly believe that "inflation" is a general increase in prices.
A general increase in prices may be due in part to inflation because inflation
debauches the currency, but they are entirely different things with entirely
different causes. I will explain the following:
- What inflation is.
- The effect of inflation.
- Why "fighting inflation" by increasing the Prime Rate actually makes
inflation worse.
- What causes inflation.
- ow to fight inflation.
1. So let's begin with what inflation is. Inflation occurs when the money
supply grows faster than the basket of goods and services grows. For example,
during the two years ending in August of 2023, the money supply grew by 83%
while the basket of goods and services contracted sharply (as evidenced by bare
shelves everywhere). That is all inflation is.
2. The effect of inflation is it reduces the value of each dollar in
circulation and the value of each dollar-based asset (such as your home)
relative to the dollars in circulation. It is a taking of wealth, and thus it is
a tax. For the vast majority of Americans, it is the single largest tax they
pay.
3. The Federal Reserve, aka The Fed, claims to fight inflation by cooling the
economy which they do by raising the Prime Rate and making capital more
expensive. Now, let's go back to the definition of inflation. This act by The
Fed contracts the size of the basket of goods and services. Even if the supply
of money doesn't increase under this scenario, inflation does increase.
Now, the remaining two are more than bullet point answers.
4. What causes the money supply to grow? All kinds of things contribute to
tiny increases. For example, if you take out a $10,000 loan the bank lends you
$9500 it does not have and provides the other $500 from its "fractional
reserve". Businesses borrow all the time, creating money out of thin air this
way but they invest it into things that make the basket of goods and services
grow.
But "the big gorilla", the one that causes the money supply to make giant
step changes in size, is the Federal Reserve. When the Federal Government (not
states, counties, municipalities, businesses, or people) spends money it does
not have, this creates a debt. The Fed "buys" the debt by creating money out of
thin are in the exact amount of the debt. If the total money supply had been
$100 and the Federal Government spent $20 it could not cover from discreet taxes
(excise tax, income tax, etc.), the Fed creates $20 out of thin air to pay for
this. The economy then sees 20% inflation.
The ONLY source of real inflation is the Federal Reserve. The root cause of
its inflationary behavior is excess spending by the Federal Government.
5. To fight inflation, you can't simply instruct the Federal Reserve to stop
counterfieting money to cover deficit spending by the Federal Government.
Because if it did, Federal Government payments would bounce (except for Social
Security and Medicare, which are self-funded rather than funded from the general
Treasury).
a. Based on #3 above, you probably surmised that reducing the Prime Rate will
increase investment and thus heat up the economy and thus increase the basket of
goods and services and thus reduce inflation without decreasing the money
supply. That is one way, but it hits a point of zero effect as the interest
rates drop to X (the point where further drops are either not possible or do not
provide sufficient stimulus).
b. You could levy a deficit spending tax on the citizens, and then instruct
the Fed not to cover the deficit spending because this tax will do that. But
inflation is a tax on deficit spending so this amounts to soldiers swapping
underpants with each other (an old joke).
c. You could streamline regulations, abolish the IRS (compliance costs to the
economy are 15X what IRS collects), and do other things to help businesses grow
the basket of goods and services. But that's only one side of the formula.
z. Skipping to the end, we find the way to permanently prevent more inflation
and to reduce the inflation that has already occurred (inflation tax slowly
refunded to the people). What is this solution?
End deficit spending.
Why? If there's no deficit spending, then The Fed won't buy the resulting
debt which means The Fed won't inflate the money supply. One major effect of
DOGE is by rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal payments system
(for starters) and then doing the same in agency after agency, you can
dramatically shrink Federal Government spending. And you can shrink it to the
point that the Federal Government has not a "budget surplus" (a meaningless
number) but a cash flow surplus. If it is taking in more than it is spending,
then cash flow is positive--exactly what every business does to prosper. |
5. Security tip
What do you do with the
old one, when you upgrade by replacing a hard drive, .M2 card, phone,
camera, portable GPS, USB memory card, tablet, or other device? Most people
toss the old one in the trash, some take it to an electronics recycler. But
these devices may contain sensitive information.
For hard drives, do this:
-
Erase all data.
-
Use a wiping utility
to actually remove the data.
-
Do a full format.
-
Then remove the drive,
and drill several holes into it. Soak it overnight in vinegar. Then you
can dispose of it.
For old laptops, tablets,
and other devices with removable drives: Remove the drive and wipe it per
the above.
For old laptops, tablets,
and other devices without removable drives: Do all of the above, except the
last step. Same applies to USB memory cards.
For .M2 cards, you do all
of the above except you cut the card into separate pieces and dispose of the
pieces in different places at different times. For example, one piece goes
in your regular home trash and another piece goes into the trash bin that's
at the entrance to a grocery store you don't usually go to, and another
piece goes into the trash bin outside an auto parts store.
Don't ruin all this
security by giving sensitive data to some alleged sales person, bank rep, or
IRS agent over the phone. Keep information private and on a "need to know"
basis. |

This is the time of year when people start thinking about reducing the
amount of fat on their bodies so their summer clothes will fit and so they
don't look chubby in them. Unfortunately, people tend to think of this as
"losing weight" which typically means they measure their progress by how
much weight they lose while on yet another whacky diet. The low-carb diet
is popular now. Let's go back to my brainpower article for this edition,
where I point out the importance of defining terms. What is a carb, anyhow?
To many people, it means anything that isn't meat or oil/fat/butter/fat.
That would make beans, which have the same 20 amino acids as meat, a carb.
Ditto for rice. But beans and rice together can take the place of meat when
it comes to being a protein source. It's simply a wrong idea that any
unprocessed food is a protein, fat, or carb. No food falls strictly into one
of those boxes.
Let's go with the idea, instead, that some foods are predominantly
carbohydrates. A baked potato is an example. Potatoes, especially sweet
potatoes, are nutritional powerhouses. The same can be said of other "carbs"
such as beets, carrots, broccoli, bananas, apples, strawberries, eggplant,
bok choy, spinach, and, well, you just name it. Are these "carbs" making you
fat? Nope. So forget about eliminating them in your drive to get leaner.
What about grains, though? Are not corn and wheat carbs? Yes, they are.
But these plants, as grown in the USA, have been bred to calorie-dense. They
are basically processed food right off the stalk! I do not eat them or
anything made from them. If you're going to "cut carbs" by eliminating
these, that's great.
But don't dramatically cut carbs in general. Here is what happens when
someone who seeks to "lose weight" goes on a low carb diet. They flush out
fiber and water, which have weight. Wow, fast weight loss! But then they
start losing lean mass while actually increasing the amount of body fat.
This is because carbohydrates are essential for maintaining lean mass and
because carbohydrates are the fuel for starting the fat burning process. Two
additional factors apply, also. One is that to do the kind of intense
training (or just plain hard work) needed to build muscle and shift your
body composition toward leaner, you need carbohydrates. Another is when you
restrict carbs too much (and "too much" isn't much), your body shifts to
starvation mode and starts conserving fuel.
I read one recommendation that a sedentary person should get 80 grams of
carbs for each kg of body weight. Since we can't isolate carbs and
call things like spinach a carb, take this with the proverbial grain of
salt. But also recognize it's what they say about protein.
If you want to get leaner, what should you do instead of cut carbs? Some
"in a nutshell" tips:
- Look for calorie bombs in your diet and cut back or eliminate them.
A common example is the protein shake. For people who work out, this is
probably their main source of excess body fat. You can try making them
smaller, having them only on leg day, or just going without them for a
few weeks. See what happens. You will be amazed.
- Ensure you are eating six meals per day. Fewer than that, and you
start cramming too much protein into a single meal and that will make
you fat because your body converts excess protein to sugar and then
converts that sugar to fat.
- Reduce portion size. Just a little, or you go into starvation mode.
For example, buy smaller sweet potatoes or make smaller size meal preps.
- Stop doing low-intensity exercise (which trains you to conserve
fuel) and replace that with high-intensity exercise.
- Find easy ways to reduce stress. For example, avoid talking with
people who are more interested in spewing their ignorant viewpoints than
in having a conversation.
- Carefully examine the fats in your diet and make some minor
cutbacks. For example, I like to pour olive oil on Meal #3 (which is
based on beans and rice, but loaded with veggies). All I have to do here
is either drizzle it on or make a visual point of pouring 1/4 as much
(instead of making a couple of circles, make only one half-circle). Fats
are energy dense, so cutting back on them by a total of X% will give you
the slight calorie deficit that you need to reduce your body fat. You
will reduce it over months, not weeks, however, because you are cutting
back only a little. Be patient, the results will come.

7. Factoid
There is not a single documented case of even one person
being prevented from requiring hospitalization by dint of undergoing the
experimental mRNA injection. In fact, many who did undergo it either died of a
heart attack on the soccer field, basketball court, etc., or died in the
hospital from the effects of the injection. These two sets of facts are why
state bans on this poison are being enacted. |
