1. Good News: Where the Intel is Good
Fighting Communism
-
The Communist News Network (CNN) recently laid off about 100 employees
(3% of its brainwashing force). People are so sick of the blatantly
dishonest "reporting" that they are tuning out CNN. Consequently,
advertising revenue in early 2024 dropped 40% compared to a year ago.
It's almost hilarious that the CEO has responded as if the problem is
they need a third attempt at a digital strategy (the previous two
bombed), when it's painfully obvious that the "our viewers must be
really stupid, let's sling this BS at them" strategy was overplayed
since the coup and people are simply connecting the very big dots
between CNN's fantasy world and the devastating consequences of
communism in the real world.
-
Replay of a particularly good VSRF show:
https://rumble.com/v56915e-vsrf-live-134-pandemic-in-paradise-an-insiders-view-on-the-pandemic.html
It's a couple of hours long, you may want to watch it in smaller
segments.
-
The communists know they cannot beat Trump in a fair election. In
addition to everything else they've done, on 13 JUL one of their people
they shot him at a rally in Butler, PA. There are so many red flags
about this, it is almost certainly a conspiracy. How did the tall ladder
get there? Why was the massive flag (wind indicator) flying over Trump's
head? Why did security people ignore the warnings from multiple people
who saw the sniper long before Trump was shot? Why was the whole
security detail not only devoid of a single tall person but
"over-represented" by people much shorter than Trump? The list of
anomalies is far longer, but I think you get the point.
-
Let us take moment to remember Corey Comperatore. He died after throwing
himself on top of his family to protect them from the flying bullets. He
was a 50 year-old former fire chief. Just the kind of hero the
communists hate but the rest of us respect and hold in high esteem. Some
private individuals raised money for Corey's family and for the two
other shooting victims (who were in critical condition for a while
there). It's a huge amount of money, but of course it doesn't make up
for the loss to the Comperatore family.
-
It's worth noting that of the six Presidents assassinated or upon whom
an attempt was made, all but JFK were Republicans. And JFK (a Life
Member of the NRA) would by today's standards be labeled a right-wing
extremist. Lincoln, McKinley, T. Roosevelt (attempted), JFK, Reagan
(attempted), and now Trump (attempted). Lincoln, a Republican, freed the
slaves. The Democrats have never forgiven his party for that.
-
After Carter, the Democrat Party strongly shifted first into socialism
then into communism. Bill Clinton was still a Democrat while POTUS, but
his wife was firmly in the socialist camp by then. It's a good thing he
didn't let her bully him into doing her bidding.
-
Nearly all Silicon Valley tech billionaires opposed Trump in the 2020
stolen election. Now, after nearly four years of devastating communism,
nearly all of them support him. I hope they realize that it's not so
much campaign dollars and more voters Trump needs as it is help with
ensuring the election is at least somewhat honest and fair. After all,
in 2020 he set a new record for votes received at the time the polls
closed. It was the devious cheating after that which resulted in
flipping the election to Biden (mostly via fake mail-in votes). Those
billionaires need to fund election integrity efforts and organize
trained teams to police things so any fraud is caught and corrected. And
you can bet there will be plenty of fraud.
-
I found this uplifting:
https://x.com/rustyrockets/status/1814113542775415272?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email,
as did millions of other Americans. The communists are defeated, and
they know it. The awful consequences of their own policies, combined
with their hatred, dishonesty, and racism made this outcome predictable.
-
On 18JUL, the 9th Circuit handed a HUGE election integrity win to the
people of Arizona. Voters must provide proof of citizenship. This
doesn't solve all the election fraud problems, but it is a big step
toward doing so. [Thanks to Jeff Childers of Covid and Coffee for that
information.]
-
Also on 18JUL, the 8th Circuit blocked the Brainless scheme to buy
votes via transferring student loan debt from basket-weaving majors to
everyone else. [Thanks to Jeff Childers of Covid and Coffee for that
information, too.]

The C*O*V*I*D* Scam
-
https://x.com/ConlustroR/status/1809620480803983643 One-hour
documentary.
- Yet another victim of the myocarditis shot, which many foolish
employers mindlessly made mandatory: NFL Star Damar Hamlin. Cardiac
arrest in mid-game.
Other News
- You've no doubt watched videos and read commentaries on the
attempted assassination of President Trump. So I'm not covering that
here. But I do want to say the Communist News Network (CNN) simply
reported that he "fell" at the rally, as if he's a bumbling old fool
like Biden. All of the lamestream media downplayed this in various
ways, but the Communist News Network was the worst. If you know
anyone who exposes their brain to this particular news sewer, make
sure to point out the kind of fake news they provide using this
example.
- You may also be aware, by now, that last week the Department of
Injustice dropped its bogus documents case against
- The US Budget Deficit now stands at $1.27 trillion so far this
year. As more pork gets added to it, that could increase. That's not
the budget, that's the deficit. Let that sink in
a. This is TRILLION, which is a 1 followed by 12 zeroes. It's a
million million.
b. The budget is planned spending and anticipated income, which
means they are planning to dig us a deeper debt hole by this amount.
c. The income projections are unrealistically rosy. The actual
number is probably a half a trillion greater, thus $1.57 trillion.
d. The budget deficit is what drives inflation, because to pay for
it the govt "sells" the debt to the Federal Reserve, which pays for
it by creating the money out of thin air (e.g., counterfeiting the
money).
- Brainless said yet another stupid thing, this is pretty funny:
https://x.com/TaraBull808/status/1811845484434399423
- The man who actually won the 2020 race for POTUS (if you don't
count the thousands of fake mail-in votes that came in after the
polls closed) is also very funny, but because he's bright as opposed
to stupid:
https://x.com/i/status/1810758360607658338
- Here's Brainless again:
https://x.com/i/status/1811846551565926475
- The FDA, which has been incredibly lax at doing anything to
protect our food supply (and which has actively worked against that
goal for years) finally banned brominated oil. Now if they would
also ban seed oils (canola, safflower, etc.) and hydrogenated oils
(e.g. Crisco shortening), they would reduce the cost of medical care
in the USA by a few billion dollars a year while ending much
unnecessary suffering. They could improve on that by banning margarine, high
fructose corn syrup, and various other highly processed foods.
But first, they need to ban the Covid "vaccines" that are
responsible for so much death and misery and have not saved a
single life (they cannot possibly reduce the risk of infection or
severity of infection, because triggering production of a protein
spike has no such effect).

3. Brainpower tip
I receive a fair amount of e-mail from leftist organizations and leftist
individuals. I also have occasion to speak with such people. I have found
several things to be true, without exception:
- They hold very strong opinions.
- They get emotional very quickly if asked to substantiate something they
say.
- They know little or nothing about the topic in which they hold such
strong opinions.
These symptoms are all related. If you don't know what you are talking about, you have
an opinion rather than knowledge and your ego is tied up in this thus you get
emotional if the opinion isn't validated by another person. In short, these
leftist people are, without exception, "low information" individuals. They may
hold advanced degrees or may even have membership in Mensa. But they lack the
intellectual curiosity to dig into a topic and truly understand it. They live in
a low information bubble, getting emotional reinforcement from other low
information individuals or from groups led by either low information individuals
or evil people who prey upon low information individuals.
I see low information individuals who aren't leftists, but I have never seen
a leftist who is not a low information individual. If you ponder on this, you
can create new information such as what the cause and effect relationship is. I
will cover "create new information" in a bit.
Those who are low information are usually also "thinking disabled". That's a
different topic, and I'll probably write about the thinking disabled at some
point.
Readers of this enewsletter tend to be high information individuals, so I
won't go into how to avoid being a low information individual. Same for being
thinking-enabled. So far, without
exception, none of the readers I have interacted with over the years are low
information individuals. A few have been "thinking inhibited", but in general I
am impressed with the degree of intelligence behind whatever messages I receive
from readers.
So two things:
- How to handle a low information individual.
- Some tips on becoming even more informed than you are.
How to handle a low information individual (LOI)
These people tend to be obnoxious. They spew all kinds of nonsense, and they
like to argue with other people. The LOI often argue so they can "win" by using
some kind of deception or other tactic to make the other person seem wrong so
that the LOI can validate their own low information opinion. So don't argue with
them. Or they try to impress with BS. Either way, you can stop them by simply
asking a probing question.
Here's an example. A LOI told me 98% of residential garages in a particular
large city have floor drains. I told him that was fascinating, and I asked him
whether he conducted a study himself or was able to obtain a government survey
or other record showing what kinds of drains city residents had in their
garages. He waffled a bit, and then said that all the ones he saw had such
drains. I asked him how many garages he saw the inside of. Was it 300? 500? Or
maybe a handful of neighbors on the block he grew up on? He got the point. Ever
since then, he's avoided trying to BS me.
You can apply this to people who respew the official narrative about Trump,
Brainless, c*o*v*i*d, "our democracy" or any other issue. Don't say they are
wrong, ask them to explain how they "know" this and word the request in a way
that demands specifics.
Tips on going from high information to ultra high information
- Subscribe to a newsletter, Substack, blog, etc., of someone who is
informative. I like Dr. Rick Cohen, Steve Kirsch, and Dr. Peter McCullough.
And there are many others. And thanks for including me in YOUR list.
- Subscribe to a few informative magazines. In addition to general purpose
ones such as the Reader's Digest and National Geographic, try topical ones
such as Consumer Reports, Family Handyman, Science Digest, and Discover. I
also like the Epoch Times, IEEE Spectrum (very specific niche), and EC&M
Magazine (super specific niche).
- Talk with people who are not siloed into echo chambers. They know a lot
of the stuff you know and vice-versa, but each of you can learn from the
other.
- Watch documentaries. Yes, many of these are biased. But all of them will
get you thinking about a subject and you do have the ability to apply the
smell test to reject the overly biased, propaganda-emitting ones right away.
Also consider the film maker's previous works (e.g., don't watch anything
produced by Michael Moore).
- Set aside time to do thought experiments. I actually synthesize new
information by using logic to build on what I know. If you take an IQ test,
you will be tested on this very ability. If you practice it on purpose, it
will become very strong. You can, for example, gain new knowledge such as
the fact that "masks don't work". You know the mask material aperture (it's
on the packaging), and you know the virus size (easy to look up on online).
From those two facts, you derive the third -- masks do not work.
- Reject interaction with low information people, to the extent practical.
There's an opportunity cost, here. Time spent with these ignoramuses is time
you cannot use to gain knowledge.
- Aim for a variety of valid sources and reasoned viewpoints. This will
round out your knowledge and avoid the echo chamber effect and siloing that
we see among leftists.
- Don't reject a source or write-up just because you don't agree with it,
and don't consider one valid just because you do. This is the trap that low
information people find themselves in. Practice objectivity. Maybe you are
wrong and need MORE information.
- Don't fall into the trap of "all you see is all there is." Use the other
tools at your disposal to look beyond what you've seen thus far.
- Avoid judging sources by their speech patterns or other cultural clues.
Using shibboleths can be very misleading. A neighbor who didn't yet know me
remarked to another neighbor it was a shame I didn't have an education (I
have a Master's Degree and several lower-order degrees). She wondered if I
had completed high school, just curious. To the other neighbor, she cited my
use of y'all and the fact I was always barefoot when outside. The other
neighbor told her I had a lot of college degrees and to just pick any topic
and get me into a conversation on it.
- Avoid deferring to "experts". They usually know far less than their
titles and credentials would indicate. Anthony Fauci is an example of this,
as is the entire CDC. You have your own brain, use it. The more you do, the
more you will be sponge for information while simultaneously repelling
disinformation, propaganda, and BS.
- Don't be afraid to say, "I don't know". When said to the appropriate
person (as opposed to BSing someone), it leads to information.

4. Finance tip
Nutcase Nancy and her communist cohorts call it "a tax break for the rich." What
am I referring to? The newly increased Standard Deduction on the Form 1040 that
was part of the 2017 Tax Reform and Jobs Act. It increased the Standard
Deduction from $6,500 to $12,000 for single filers, from $13,000 to $24,000 for
joint filers, and from $9,550 to $18,000 for Heads of Household. Increasing
the Standard Deduction by these amounts (basically doubling it) did the
following:
- For the vast majority of itemizers, eliminated the need to itemize. All
of their previously taken deductions are more than covered by the increase,
leaving the funds in their pockets and the IRS out of their lives.
- Disproportionately benefitted the poor, then the middle class. This is
basic math. If your first $12K isn't even taxed anymore, the effect is much
greater for low-income people than for those with 7 digit incomes.
- Eliminated billions of dollars of economic loss in the form of
compliance costs (filling out forms, getting audited, taking off work to go
to an audit, hiring an attorney, going to Tax court, being levied, being
harassed, dealing with inappropriate liens and levies, etc.
- Each year, prevents thousands of innocent tax payers from losing their
home. Renters who can't afford rent because of IRS levies must live on the
street, and for home owners a similar dynamic plays out.
- Vastly reduces the cost to the federal government of harassing,
intimidating, and brutalizing millions of innocent tax payers each year.
THAT savings can go to reducing the federal debt.
- Greatly simplifies tax filing, which reduces the many hours of unpaid
labor individuals donate like slaves to the 1040 system.
This part of the TRJA was made temporary as a sop to the communists (they
were merely socialists back then). Now the communists want to let it expire,
citing the need to increase federal revenue (this would actually have the
opposite effect due to skyrocketing compliance costs) to help pay down the
massive federal debt (said debt also being their fault, or mostly so).
Keep in mind that the 1040 system has a net negative effect on federal
revenue. The TRJA closed a door IRS once used to inflict massive misery just to
gain "revenue" that was less than the funds IRS expended to get it. The net
negative effect is due to such things as hiring accountants to get through the
thick maze of often-conflicting IRS rules just to file, hiring attorneys to
fight collections (which is often inflicted out of sequence, with the taxpayer
not even knowing why), the massive hit to productivity when millions of people
are stressed out from IRS threats and actions, and just generally a pointless
misallocation of private sector resources to deal with an unaccountable, morally
bankrupt federal agency.
My tip for you is this: Tell communist sympathizers (Democrat voters) how
good this high Standard Deduction is and that letting it expire will actually
increase the federal debt by unleashing IRS on millions of taxpayers who
correctly itemized. If they want to see their federal income taxes increase 50%
and their audit risk triple, then they should vote Democrat. But if they like
staying in their home rather than living in the street, they should either not
vote at all or vote Republican.
Also write to your Congressional rep that preserving the increase in the
Standard Deduction is important. |

I live out on the plains, where we do not have large bodies of water to
modulate the temperature. Thus, we get extremes that people living in, say,
the Great Lakes region (where I grew up) don't have to endure. For example,
one summer we had a drought along with a two week stretch in which the daily
high always hit 106 Degrees F. That was during the last solar peak, and a
few days before that hit I was monitoring spaceweather.com when I saw a
series of massive events on the sun. That whole summer was hot, and yet
without getting heat-sick I managed to tend my garden, prune my shrubs, pull
weeds, and keep my lawn string-trimmed and mowed. This summer is also hot
(for the same reason). You do not have to hunker down indoors, in fact you
need to spend time outside. But how do you stay safe in such extreme
temperatures?
Here are measures that I take.
General preparation:
- Ensure you are getting 5 to 10 times the RDA of Vitamin D3, and
intaking it across the day.
- Don't eat processed food, as it stresses your system in many ways
and you don't need that if you are going to take on the heat.
- Drink a good deal of water, like maybe a 16 oz glass, 20 minutes
before going outside.
PPE
- Don't apply sunscreen. If your D is sufficient, you don't need
it--and it does have negative effects.
- Wear UV-rated safety glasses if you'll be operating powered
equipment such as mowers or trimmers. Where safety glasses aren't
indicated, wear UV-rated sunglasses or safety glasses.
- Do not try to be cooler by wearing shorts to operate powered
equipment, or skipping the ear muffs, safety glasses, or work gloves.
- A sun hat is a good idea.
Execution:
- Rather than try to do everything at once, break it up. If I need to
mow, I scope out what I can expect to mow in 15 minutes. I complete that
and come inside for 5 to 10 minutes.
- When inside for these small breaks, get in front of a small fan to
cool down. I like to check e-mail during those breaks, so I use a small
USB-powered fan.
- Sip water during these breaks. Don't guzzle it down, but do try to
intake about 8 oz.
- If you have a tall tree in your yard, you can spend some time
standing next to it to cool down. The tree is a giant cooling tower. You
can also lie in the grass to cool off, cats do this all the time. I do
one of these two things if I am engaged in low-exertion activities and
don't want to pop inside to cool down.
- If, at any time, you feel your heart racing, you feel dizzy, or you
stop perspiring, stop. Bring the equipment to a safe place (where it
won't be stolen), then take a break of at least 20 minutes. If you
encounter a second episode, call it quits for the day.
Recovery:
- Rehydrate by drinking a cup or two of water.
- Don't guzzle down cold drinks. The last thing you need now is
thermal shock. The same goes for applying icepacks to your skin, a cold
towel to your neck, etc.
- Don't immediately take a cold shower to cool off. If you are
terribly sweaty or dirty, wait in front of a fan (and be sure to let it
hit you from various angles) until you feel noticeably cooler. Then take
a lukewarm shower.
- If you feel drowsy, don't take stimulants like "energy drinks" or
iced tea. Instead, focus on your breathing. Take several deep, slow
breaths. Move around a bit, rather than sit.
- Recognize that your core temperature may be elevated for quite some
time. Avoid exertion and let it cool down.
- If it's been at least an hour since you came inside and you still
feel hot despite the fan and such, then take a cold or cool shower to
reduce your core temperature so you can sleep that night.
