1. Good News: Where the Intel is Good
Fighting Communism
-
https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/stunning-10-million-illegals-have-entered-us-under-biden-tucker-country-being-destroyed.
That's over 3 X the population of Kansas. 22 of the 36 states on that
list are free states, and there are only 36 free states. This huge flood
of Democrats could change the voting in those 22 states, rendering them
communist (Democrat). That would leave only 14 states where the rule of
law is respected, actually flipping the numbers. So instead of 14
lawless, enslaved states versus 36 free states as we have now, there
would be only 14 free states left and 36 that are lawless and enslaved.
Commiefornia has a disproportionate amount of power, as do Sickenois
(Ill-inois) and New York. The main point of erasing our borders is to
nullify our elections.
The commies can't win in a fair election, so they do this kind of thing
even though it comes with horrendous human trafficking and a fentanyl
epidemic that is wiping out much of a generation. Remember George Floyd?
His autopsy clearly showed that he died from a fentanyl overdose, the
amount in his blood exceeded the lethality limit. Look at how the
commies and their lamestream media propagandists totally lied about that
and what happened as a result. Just awful.
- You have to ask yourself, "Why are the communists going to such
great lengths to destroy Donald Trump? They engage in grossly illegal
and immoral behavior toward that end, what are they so afraid of?" When
you have that answer, then you will understand why we must stop the
communists without stooping to their level of criminality and
debauchery.
- Sylvester Stallone says he is permanently leaving The People's
Republic of Commiefornia (not the name he gave it, just the name that
best describes it). He's taking his creativity and earnings with him.
- A judge in The People's Republic of Illinois (I'm an escapee from
there) has ruled that Trump is ineligible to be on the ballot. Of
course, there is no substantiation for this ruling, the communists
simply do not want Trump to be President so they abuse their power of
office toward that end. What they fear more than anything is elections
that are open, uncorrupted, and fair. Because in such elections, they
cannot win.
- After two decades of screwing up the Senate, Mitch McConnell is
finally stepping down as the Republican "leader". When the Communists
took the Senate the last time, I wrote to several prominent Republicans
that Mitchie Boy is the reason why. If the Republicans of the upper
chamber elect someone decent and trustworthy as their leader, they will
take the Senate this year. Else, they won't. I wrote to both of my
senators expressing this strongly:
"I am glad to hear that Mitch McConnell is finally stepping down
from his "leadership" role, after two decades of screwing up the
Senate and harming the Republican Party. The man is a repugnant,
repulsive, double-dealer who abhors competence. Sure, his communist
counterpart Schumer is far worse but we have to remember that "blue
state" people do not want a reprobate Republican to lead the Senate
(they prefer a criminal communist). So they turn out in big numbers
to vote against the Republican candidate who is running in their
state during that election to prevent a Republican majority.
If the Republicans of the upper chamber elect someone decent and
trustworthy as their leader, they will regain the Senate this year.
Else, they won't. Please make it clear to your colleagues what must
be done and do not give a single inch.
Thank you."
The Ongoing Covid Scam: Tidbits
- Covid itself did not kill a single otherwise healthy person. Only
people with comorbidities died from it. However, Covid treatment
protocols (which contradict common sense and standard medical practice)
killed thousands of Americans who would have lived had they not gone to
the hospital. For example, they were intubated when they did not meet
the criteria for intubation. Another example, they were denied anti-inflammatories
and their condition changed to a lethal a cytokine storm; anti-inflammatories
are standard treatment when you have respiratory inflammation as did
people with Covid.
- The Covid "vaccine" did not prevent a single case of transmission
and did not save a single life. Now the scammers, who have lost the
battle defending those assertions say that the "vaccine" reduced the
symptoms so people were less sick. What a load of crap that is. All the
"vaccine" did was stimulate the body to produce a toxic spike protien,
it actually reduced immunity. If you got the jab, you got MORE sick than
if you had not gotten it. Your immune system with the jab is already
taxed out trying to handle all those spike proteins and the other
deleterious effects of the jab. There isn't much capability left to
handle the actual flu.
- You may have noticed there was no "epidemic" of Covid among the
homeless. They didn't stay indoors per CDC "guidelines", didn't wear
masks, and didn't get the fake tests. People who got the fake tests were
malpracticed on based on a false diagnosis, and many of them died as a
result. But not from Covid.
- The murdering fraudsters behind the Covid scam knew points one and
two more than two years ago. And yet, they persist to this day to push
the false and deadly narrative. Generally speaking, mass murder is a
felony and a capital offense. Why have these people not even been
indicted yet? Let's see Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci swing from a rope
after being tried in Nuremberg!

The Rocket Pen Reader is an affordable, powerful reading assistant and reading
tutor that erases the barriers created by dyslexia and other reading problems.
It can be used privately in the classroom, avoiding stigma, thanks to the
earbuds included in the kit (it can alternatively be used without earbuds).
How it teaches reading
Before the early 1980s, public schools relied on phonics to teach reading.
This allowed any student to "sound out" a new, unfamiliar word and also
recognize its root and thereby often grasp its meaning even without a
dictionary. Then schools switched to the "Look See" method, which treated words
as individual pictograms to memorize. The results were dismal, plummeting the
USA from the top of the literacy ranks to the bottom among industrialized
countries.
The Rocket Pen puts phonics back in.
It also adds a context-driven dictionary and a context-driven thesaurus, both
powerful tools for improving reading skills. See the reading tutor functions in
the chart below.
It is the answer
The Rocket Pen Reader is the answer for helping the reading-challenged in the
classroom, special needs classes, home-schooling, and adult education. Because
of its mobile-friendly design, you can carry it with you and use it anywhere.
Not only does it read to you, it helps you learn to read (for example, by
showing you the syllable breakdown and the definition). It is super easy to use,
no need to watch a dozen videos to figure out what to do.
Based on the highly
successful ReadingPen 2 and vastly superior to the cPen Reader Pen, the
RocketPen is the latest generation in a reading tutor scanning pen. It is a
quantum leap or two beyond anything else on the market. This amazing device
retails for $499, sells for $399 on Amazon and Walmart.com, but is on sale
now for a limited time only via our eBay store at only $379!
It beats the competition

3. Brainpower tip
One way to intellectually impoverish yourself is to look for relatively
unimportant mistakes and then reject the source or other person entirely. This
is known as not being able to see the forest for the trees. I don't watch
television, listen to the radio, or read the mainstream newspapers or magazines
(I do subscribe to Epoch Times), all of which means I'm not inundated with
propaganda and am often unfamiliar with the memes. Do you remember the yellow
alerts, orange alerts, etc.? It was nearly two years after those came out that I
knew what they meant because I had never seen them. This doesn't mean I am
ignorant, it means I am unfamiliar with the memes. So I sometimes get a minor
detail wrong, the same way I sometimes use the wrong word when trying to speak
Spanish because it's not a language I use very much. No se!
An example of this is early during the Covid scam, Mr. Fauci and his cohorts
were claiming a dust mask would block Covid. So in this newsletter, I referred
to the N95 mask designation as K95; there was actually KN95 which is the Chinese
version. A reader sent me a blistering message about how stupid I am and
unsubscribed.
While I do ignore the lying, manipulative legacy media I do find information
from primary sources.
Another way to intellectually impoverish yourself is to avoid any
discomfort that may arise from challenges to your currently held beliefs by
staying in your echo chamber and rejecting anyone and anything that poses such a
challenge.
Here's an example, and it's a bit more involved than the first one.
I "fired" my Congresswoman Sharice Davids because I was also subscribing to
House Speaker Nutcase Nancy's newsletter and noticed the two newsletters were
almost verbatim identical. Which meant my Congresswoman was representing Nancy
Pelosi to the Third District of Kansas instead of representing the Third
District of Kansas in Congress. I had also watched several videos featuring
Marjorie Taylor Greene and had subscribed to her newsletter. I also contacted
her via her web form and instead of getting back the kind of idiotic and
dishonest message Davids had a habit of sending, I got back something that
showed MTG cares about her constituents and her country.
I could see she was a lot rougher around the edges than I like, but she was a
freshman Congresswoman during this time so I expected she would either mature
into the job or not get re-elected. She was re-elected. But even before she was,
I wrote to Davids and expressed my disappointment for her dishonorable conduct
and failure in her position. I wrote to Davids that I would be sending my
concerns and my political campaign dollars to Marjorie Taylor Greene who, though
imperfect, at least understands our Constitution and what her job is.
I've mentioned MTG in this newsletter a few times and also provided links to
videos featuring her. In the issue before this one, I discussed this example of
"firing" a communist (mis)representative and "hiring" one who would actually do
a good job. In that same issue, I mentioned support for President Trump, who was
defrauded out of his second term of office and whose accomplishments (despite
having the maturity of an 8 year old) in his first term were quite impressive
(the numbers don't lie) while at the same time Brainless Biden has literally
been at war with America--devastating our economy, fomenting racial hatred,
advocating wokeness, and spectacularly failing in every single one of his
Presidential responsibilities. With Trump as the presumed Republican nominee
facing off against Biden, it is not rocket science to see what you have to do.
And yet, a reader in the People's Republic of Hawaii wrote to me that she has
long enjoyed my newsletter. Until now. And that I showed no brainpower because
of backing MTG and Trump, so she was unsubscribing.
It's not political
But let's say I was just ignorantly backing Trump and MTG instead of backing
them as the rational conclusion that comes from viewing the undeniable facts.
This reader could have said, "OK, I'm just going to disagree there." Or she
could have written that I didn't make a case for this position, and either do
that or write a mea culpa. But the reality is I did make a case and this was her
problem. The cognitive dissonance that affects a propaganda-poisoned person who
is confronted with logical conclusions arising from facts causes an emotional
response. The person either has an "Aha!" moment or goes into kill the messenger
mode.
I consider myself to be completely apolitical. It's not the political party
of a candidate or politician, it's what that person advocates or does while in
office. And for the current generation of Democrats, they advocate hatred and
intolerance while committing criminal acts with impunity. But it doesn't mean I
reject all Democrats.
Here in Kansas, we have a Democrat Governor (Kelly). Her predecessor, a
Republican, mostly shared my values. But he totally botched the state's
finances. Governor Kelly shares fewer values with me than her predecessor does,
but she righted the financial mess. She also refused to abuse her power of
office to foment the Covid scam, and instead left it up to each county. I have
sent her several messages of gratitude and encouragement.
The problem today is the Democratic Party has been taken over by radical
people who will try to destroy anyone who doesn't follow their orders and
support their narrative while they commit crime after crime. Trump isn't their
only target, look what they have done to Senator Sinema and many others.
It just so happens that Republicans and I share most of the same values (but
not all, I am a registered Libertarian). And the only values I see coming from
the leftwing extremists are hatred and intolerance. I don't see any other
message from them, these two "values" underpin everything they say. As for what
they do, it's all about committing crimes. This means that in a contest between
them and any Republican, it's not rocket science which one I will choose. Our
only remedy, under our laws, is the ballot box. And thus an apolitical person
must engage in political acts to counter criminal behavior, intolerance, and
hatred. It's a heck of a thing.
I hold my nose sometimes when voting (figuratively, anyhow) because in
certain races the over-riding concern is to ensure a communist does not win. And
unfortunately, only a Republican can beat a communist in our current system. So
even though I do vote Libertarian for all of the State of Kansas offices, county
offices, and local offices, I feel compelled to vote R for the federal ones. I
took that position when Barry Soetoro was running for re-election, and have held
it ever since. It's not what I want to do, but the communists are an existential
threat to our nation and they must be stopped by whatever lawful and moral means
we have at our disposal.
Since they use unlawful and immoral means to stomp us down, it's not a fair
fight. But if we become like them, they we have already lost. Thus, I vote R in
specific races. |
4. Finance tip
What do we spend per day just to pay the interest on the national debt? At
this point in 2024, it's $640 billion per year. That's $1.7534 billion per day.
A billion is 1 followed by 9 zeroes. So this number is 640,000,000, 000. That's
$175,342,465.753425 per day.
- The average Social Security benefit is $21,210. That's $58 per day. So
the daily interest on the national debt uses up the Social Security benefits
of 3,017,444.60160302 Americans. Each day. All year long.
- Columbus, OH, has a population of almost 1 million people (905,750).
That's $193 per person per day, just to pay the interest on the national
debt. That's $70,659.67 per person per year.
This analysis helps put things in perspective. Of course, the population of
Columbus, OH is less than 1% the population of the whole country. So we don't
want to look at those numbers and think we each have to pay more than the median
annual wage just to pay the interest on the debt.
The takeaway from this is the interest on the national debt is enormous
enough that it has become a major expense item all on its own. What can we do
about this?
Here is the equation for debt increase: Revenue - Spending = Debt Increase.
Given this, you can either increase revenue or decrease spending to reduce the
rate of debt accumulation. Or you can do some of each.
The amount of debt has more than doubled since the coup. It was also growing
during Trump's first term, just not in leaps and bounds. The leaps and bounds
were due to one-off spending bills inflicted on us when Nutcase Nancy was
Speaker. All of these were cynically named to reflect the opposite effect of
what they actually did. The only thing this means is if we keep communists from
regaining the House then we won't see any more of these huge theft things
happening.
Spending cuts are not politically feasible, due to our "pig at the trough"
system. Members of Congress get rewarded when the abet theft of the Treasury,
and punished when they oppose it. We might make some marginal reductions in
spending, if we fight hard enough and are willing to take the punishment that
will be meted out by the greediest of the pigs at the trough. What I mean by
this is if you get on their radar they will viciously come after you personally.
What remains is growing the revenue side. Since taxation is already
excessive, simply raising tax rates isn't the answer. We saw the answer during
Trump's first term and during Bill Clinton's second term. The answer involves
doing the exact opposite to businesses what the Brainless administration is
doing. Rather than bombard businesses with libtard utopian requirements such as
DEI, even more reporting requirements, and even more burdensome regulation
compliance requirements, the federal government (and state governments) need to
back off. None of these requirements are of the "pig at the trough" type, which
means there's nobody who financially benefits from them. Which means that
rescinding them doesn't take any bit of the pie from anyone else. It merely
grows the pie.
If you own or work for a small business, ensure the business joins the
National Small Business Association (NSBA)
www.nsba.biz (do not confuse this with the .org variation, an entirely
different group). This group has been America's small business advocate since
1937. It's not that they lobby for more pig time at the trough, it's that they
lobby for the federal government to stop being water boys for the big
corporations that employ members of Congress to hobble their small business
competitors. Most jobs and most government revenue come from small businesses,
while most organize crime and most health costs come from big corporations.
What we don't want to do is lobby for "deregulation". This tends to mean
licensing the seediest of the large businesses to commit heinous acts with
impunity. It puts the best of the larger businesses at a distinct disadvantage,
in addition to harming small businesses. What we want to lobby for is the
removal of regulations that don't benefit consumers much (if at all), and there
are plenty of those. Most of these are issued by unelected officials of
government agencies, who are never held accountable for their actions. We can
lobby in one of two ways:
- Petition Congress to pass legislation with clear and specific mandates
to agencies, rather than taking the lazy way out and granting them broad
authority while knowing the very companies these agencies regulate offer
posh jobs to the employees of those agencies (the revolving door problem).
Good luck with that.
- Contact regulators directly. This has had success, an example being
OSHA. If you read 1926.29 CFR (the OSHA regs), you find very little to
criticize. The whole point of this collection of regulations appears to be
to provide employers with specific instructions on how not to fail their
employees when it comes to safety. The electrical industry regulations are
particularly good. The current head of this hasn't been in the job long, his
predecessor worked very closely with industry representatives for 40 years
and he had an excellent understanding of industry standards such as the
National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the
Workplace). He was often seen at industry events. His successor has carried
this same banner since replacing him.
How can you implement #2? If you are "just an employee" get involved in at
least one professional or trade society in your industry. Through that, you can
make meaningful contact with at least one relevant regulating agency and get
communication going. If you are an executive at you firm, you can do something
similar and/or identify one employee to do it and back that employee with
sufficient resources (time and funding to go to trade shows, specific work
assignments toward this function, and maybe even a "Liaison" title). If you are
already working far more hours than you should (very common these days), then
"outsource" to a special hire or contractor and/or support an organization
(e.g., NSBA) that will represent you in Washington, DC.

5. Security tip
Do you know anyone over the age of 55? When people turn 55, they are
eligible to join the Association Against Retired People (AARP), an
organization that provides a bunch of discounts for those over 55 while
simultaneously undermining these very same people by backing socialist and
communist politicians and spreading the lies told by those same politicians.
For example, they backed Barry Soetoro (aka, "Obama") for a second term in
office even though during his first term he racked up $1 trillion a year in
deficit spending. His predecessor's last year in office produced a $400B
deficit. Nutcase Nancy and BS collaborated to puff out GW's outgoing budget
by another $800B, bringing the BS budget deficit to $1.2T his very first
year.
In case you don't understand how deficits affect prices, I sum it up by
saying they increase inflation because the Fed buys the additional debt with
money it creates out of thin air. This amounts to a tax on all dollar-based
income and assets. It eats away at retirement income like nothing else does.
I know a retired person who has filled his house with useless junk, IMO
he should invite thieves in to haul away 95% of it. Instead, he locks his
doors (advisable, actually) and has an elaborate alarm system. But he has no
problem with being robbed by the AARP.
As an alternative, the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC),
www.amac.org offers the same discounts
while not supporting crooks who steal from the poor to give to the rich.
Rather than support an organization that exists to help crooks rob seniors,
support an organization that exists to serve seniors. This is a big step
toward personal security, financially and otherwise. |

Have you noticed how hard it is for some people to stick to their diet?
There's a reason, and I will get to it shortly. Let's first look at the
typical bodybuilder diet. It consists of rice, broccoli, chicken, rice,
broccoli, chicken, rice, broccoli, chicken.... How monotonous. And how
unhealthy. No wonder nobody sticks to that, even the ones who "live a
little" and add strawberries to the mix or substitute salmon for the chicken
or green beans for the broccoli. Some online "gurus" offer similarly
limited, boring, unhealthy diets but tell you to set aside one day of the
week as your "cheat day" where you can eat whatever you want. This "cheat
day" is a tacit admission the diet itself is no good.
Many diets are this way, even if not as extreme. The Paleo Diet, for
example, excludes beans, root vegetables, and many other nutrient-dense,
satisfying foods.
I was talking with my climbing buddy Lee not long ago about this issue.
He said something insightful: "If you just don't eat junkfood, that's 90% of
it". I agreed and said if you stick to a whole food diet that is reasonably
diverse, it is almost impossible to become obese. Even if you persistently
overeat, you will at most get a little pudgy.
The reason people can't stick to their diet is they are focused on
following a limited, specific meal plan that lacks diversity. Meals are
"fuel" instead of something to enjoy.
The simplest good diet is this: Don't eat anything that's highly
processed, but feel free to eat anything else.
Having variety takes it to the next level. If you normally don't
eat Romaine lettuce, buy some. If you normally always have the same three
fruits, buy one you haven't had in a while. Eat watermelon when it's in
season. Eat strawberries when they are in season. Buy some frozen fruit
sometimes, too--just not something you normally have.
- Having a variety of plants in your diet means you don't get bored
and thus tempted to consumed junkfood. It also means you get nutrients
that may be missing from your normal or "core" food selections. Even
within a type of food, change things up. Instead of getting your usual
walnuts, choose cashews this time. Instead of the gala apples you always
seem to get, choose the Macintosh ones. You don't need to change
everything all the time, just add something different to keep things
interesting.
- Also prepare foods differently once in a while. I like to have two
omelets each day. Every so often, I will have scrambled eggs instead. I
have three different kinds of hot sauce and I use a salsa; talk about
variety in hot seasonings! I buy whole beets (both leaves and roots).
Sometimes I slice the beet bulbs almost paper thin, other times I dice
them. It is amazing how this small difference affects the taste and
texture of a dish.
- Consider preparing some foods ad hoc so they are never the same. I
bake sugar-free, wheat-free cookies explicitly for my breakfast. I never
make them the same way, each batch is different. Maybe different fruit,
maybe different ratios of spices. Sometimes, I will bake them with
pumpkin puree instead of the whole fruits I dice. Sometimes I will add
walnut pieces. Sometimes I add raisins, and sometimes I don't. I never
get tired of these.
By not boring myself to tears with the same few foods, I am able to stick
to my diet. But it's not a strict diet in the sense most people think of
when thinking of diets. I don't eat anything highly processed, and I don't
eat seed oils, meat, wheat, corn, or soy. Everything else is fair game, and
that opens a vast number of possible food choices. I can easily stick to
this diet. Because it's not really a diet. |

7. Factoid
A reader unsubscribed after reading I endorse Trump over Biden. Here's a fact to
consider: Under all four years of Donald Trump, there were only 11 attempts by
people on our terrorist watch list to illegally cross our border. In 2022, under
Biden's "leadership" there were 659 attempts by people on our terrorist watch
list to illegally cross our border.
In addition, the open border policy has resulted in a massive spike in human
trafficking, and a fentanyl problem that is killing thousands of American
teenagers (Port Huron, MI was particularly devastated by this not long ago). So
am I stupid, as that reader claims, for endorsing Trump over Biden? You decide. |
8. Thought for the Day
When the rhetoric from our "leaders" is the opposite of the
reality, should we not replace those "leaders?" Brainless' claim that "Bidenomics
is working" is a case in point; we have not had an economy this bad since FDR's
time.

Authorship
The purpose of this publication is to inform and empower its readers (and save you money!).
The views expressed in this e-newsletter are generally not shared by socialists or
other brainwashed individuals. That's because those fools live in an alternate reality
and have not bothered to learn the basics of how life works. They cannot do
basic math, cannot apply logic, and cannot be bothered to learn the basic facts
relevant to any topic that they are passionate about.
Except where noted, this e-newsletter is entirely the work of Mark Lamendola. Anything presented as fact can be independently verified.
Where sources are not given, they are readily available to anyone who makes the effort.
Mark provides information from either research or his own areas of established expertise. Sometimes, what appears to be a personal opinion is the only possibility when applying sound logic--reason it out before judging! (That said, some personal opinions do appear on occasion).
Personal note from Mark: I value each and every one of you, and I hope that shows in the diligent effort I put into writing this e-newsletter.
It is an act of service, almost no money is generated for me through this
effort. Thank you for being a faithful reader.
