1. Good News: Where the Intel is Good

Stupidity Alert!

Bill Gates and his fellow "elites" now claim that it is necessary to cut down and bury trees to save the planet. Obviously, that is stupid in the extreme. But it is not a new strategy. The "planet savers" have been doing this for many years now. They cut down trees to grow corn for ethanol, they cut down trees to install solar power farms, they cut down trees to install wind turbine farms. Are you seeing a pattern, here? Why are the people who insist that global warming is such an urgent crisis advocating cutting down trees?

Stoking the Hatred Machine

The socialists just can't give it a rest. After long-time drug abuser and career criminal George Floyd was killed during an arrest gone wrong, they leveraged that unfortunate incident into a summer-long killing spree that amped up racial tension and hatred. Recently, Brainless officially honored George Floyd on his 50th birthday, apparently in an effort to stoke the racial tension fires again. Brainless would not have the power to do this, if not for massive fraud in the 2020 election. Election integrity matters.

Brainless gave Iran $5.6 billion. What did his liberal handlers think Iran would do with that money, considering all the Iranians talk about is wiping out Israel? Gee, I cannot figure that out. Liberals need to explain this to the rest of us. News flash to liberals: reality matters. So does election integrity.

Defending Against the Hatred Machine

I've never understood the concept of an unarmed Jew, at least not since the amazing feat of armed Jews in a Warsaw ghetto circa the Holocaust era (before my time) versus what happened to 6 million unarmed Jews.

Brainless likes to stoke the fires of the alleged "race problem" between people who are called "black" and people who are called "white" (whether such people participate in such nonsense or not). But he's oddly silent on defending the Jews who are actual victims on unrelenting hatred. Maybe that's because he not only eviscerated President Trump's real achievements in Middle East peace but also gave Iran billions of our tax dollars knowing full well what they would do with it. Even someone as abjectly stupid as Brainless can connect those massive dots.

So basically, we have state-sponsored terrorism. What is a Jew to do? What is any target of hatred to do?

I remember visiting my friend Dr. Jay Prince in Florida during the very early days of Right to Carry Unconcealed. We stopped at a diner and I was a bit taken aback to see a pistol on display on a patron's hip. Jay casually remarked that Florida is pretty safe compared to some other places and guns themselves aren't the problem where violence is happening.

Now that Brainless has launched a proxy war against Israel, some socialist members of our national legislature have made stunningly hateful comments about Jews. This has stoked up the anti-Jew nutjobs to come out from under the toilet or wherever they hide to start abusing Jews. In Florida (no surprise), the response has been a huge increase in the purchase of firearms among Jewish people. Let that be a warning to those who hate [pick your ethnic group] in America.

We have the Second Amendment despite the extreme efforts of Dianne Feinstein (may she rot in hell), Ted Kennedy (him, too) and Nutcase Nancy (may she go there soon). The right to self-defense is a protected right for reasons that any student of history can readily understand. For those who do not understand, you'll just have to trust the rest of us and stay out of our way OR take the time to understand the Bill of Rights and the reasoning behind it (Civics 101).

In the USA, the first laws restricting the purchase and possession of firearms were enacted during Reconstruction. Why was this? It had been proving difficult to lynch a black man while he was armed with a double-barreled shotgun. Disarming a recently emancipated "class" of people became a political necessity for this reason. The NRA was the first and only organization to stand up for these people during that time and insist that their Second Amendment rights not be infringed. It wasn't the NRA going around lynching people, it was the anti-gunners.

Science versus psychopaths

Some people may find my statements below to be shocking. I hope it means I am helping you.

The “safe and effective” narrative is not science-based. It is greed-based and it is wrong. Not just factually, but morally. The perpetrators are still at large, but their status may change soon. Cases are moving through the courts, and the science-based side is racking up the wins.

I was chronically sick most of my first decade, so my dad took a second job to pay for my medications and my grandfather took out a life insurance policy to protect my parents from what seemed inevitable. My mom taught me how to read even before I went to Kindergarten and this allowed me to crack the code on immunity to pathogens before my age headed into the double digits. I am an expert in this area. I'm science-based, and thus I disagree with everything Mr. Fauci has ever said about Covid.

I have not been sick since 1971 despite being born with an immune deficiency that wasn’t corrected until I was in my 50s. A big thank you to Dr. Rick Cohen for solving my low gamma globulin problem and my extreme sun sensitivity.

Mr. Fauci is a bureaucrat with zero technical expertise. He gets absolutely nothing about immunology correct, because he knows absolutely nothing about immunology. This fact has been underscored by two US Senators who are medical doctors, though anyone with a grasp of immunology basics can see Mr. Fauci is an utter moron in this area.

It’s worth noting that he has no peer-reviewed papers, he is never cited in a peer-reviewed paper, and has done no original research or added to the scientific literature. That's because he's a moron in this area.

You cannot stop a virus from spreading. Not even if you wear a dust mask (ridiculous) or stand 6 feet apart from people or any of the other stupid things that came out of the CDC and Mr. Fauci.

Back in the 1960s, we knew how to protect ourselves from viruses. We took zinc lozenges, B vitamins, and vitamin C. It worked. I especially liked those licorice-flavored lozenges despite the sugar in them….

Mr. Fauci ran a lab that fleeced taxpayers for forty years, pretending they could develop a vaccine against a rapidly evolving pathogen (HIV). He should be convicted on at least 40 counts of grand larceny for that alone. As with Covid, no HIV vaccine is possible because by the time it is released the version of the virus it’s for is already extinct. This is why the unsafe “vaccine” for Covid-19 was never effective and why the boosters provide zero protection.

I would like to see Mr. Fauci’s next "speaking engagement" to be at his trial in Nuremberg for crimes against humanity.

My earlier offer to share the Pfizer trial document still stands. If you have any lingering idea the Covid “vaccines” are either safe or effective, Pfizer’s own document will dispel that notion. Health care is mostly about the discipline to eat right, train consistently, and get ample sleep. Medical care seems to have morphed into being about making people sicker. That’s the lesson from Covid. You can still get high quality medical care, but now you have to determine whether the care provider is science-based or brainwashed. It's an easy test to administer, make sure you do.

Defending Against Socialism/Communism

Covid isn't the disease we need to worry about. Socialism is the disease we need to worry about.

  1. The Brainless administration is showing how socialists treat alleged allies of the USA. Instead of immediately coming to the aid of Israel, they did it grudgingly and after much delay Bernie Sanders also made comments that only a socialist would make, shame on him. We need to treat socialists with the scorn and contempt they have earned and continue to earn.

  2. My sister did a tour of duty in The People's Republic of New Mexico, a cesspool of socialism. Then she fled from there to civilization. The governor of that awful state recently issued some kind of "public health" decree that punishes law-abiding gun owners. Yes, the typical libtard non-sequitor of blaming guns for public health problems and deciding that disarming law-abiding people somehow solves some problem. Law enforcement officials in various counties there are saying they will not enforce this unconstitutional edict.

  3. Under Alejandro Moyorkas, our southern border has been dissolved. As a consequence, illegal drugs flow into our country like never before. In the three years of his tenure, the number of American teens dying from Fentanyl has tripled. Mayorkas and other socialists need to be removed from office. If not for the coup, all those extra dead teens would still be alive today. Election integrity matters.

  4. The Brainless administration ordered banks not to reject the loan applications of illegal immigrants. But because these people are here illegally, the bank has no recourse if there's a default. This is going to mean a lot of bank robbing. And guess who pays for that? Legal immigrants and natural-born citizens. If not for the coup, this situation would not exist. Election integrity matters.

  5. New Zealand just gave its liberal party the boot. That could be blowback from how New Zealanders suffered through the ineffective and idiotic liberty restrictions the liberals inflicted in the name of fighting Covid. Perhaps if they have focused more on fighting the pathogen than on fighting the potential victims (same mentality as "gun control"), the voters might have been less vengeful toward them.

The Ongoing Covid Scam: Tidbits

  1. Unbelievably, mask morons are still parading around with their face diapers. Not news to you, I am sure. But what are we to make of this? The mask is an "I am stupid" badge. It sends a message to the criminal class that their next scam will have plenty of supporters. For that reason, I periodically challenge one of these morons (if they don't like being challenged, then they should not walk around making such a brazen political statement). One of my favorite gambits is to say, "It doesn't seem dusty in here to me. I'm not wearing a dust mask and I don't smell any dust."

  2. Arnold Schwarzenegger joined the anti-freedom movement with his stupid, harmful remarks about the pointless masks and the toxic jabs. He came across as if those of us refusing to wear the pointless masks or get the toxic jabs are somehow bad people. He has not recanted or apologized for his stupid, anti-human, pro-scam behavior. I've seen my last Arnold movie. Ever. I hope he gets arrested for groping Nancy Pelosi.

  3. The latest data from the Centers for Disinformation and Censorship (CDC) show that 98% of Americans have rejected the latest "vaccine" for Covid. This is really good news, especially as we head into Covid Scam II. The 2% who opted for this should probably be cleaned out of the gene pool, anyhow. It would be interesting to see what % of the 2% are mask morons. My guess would be 100%.

Rocket Pen

The Rocket Pen Reader is an affordable, powerful reading assistant and reading tutor that erases the barriers created by dyslexia and other reading problems. It can be used privately in the classroom, avoiding stigma, thanks to the earbuds included in the kit (it can alternatively be used without earbuds).

How it teaches reading

Before the early 1980s, public schools relied on phonics to teach reading. This allowed any student to "sound out" a new, unfamiliar word and also recognize its root and thereby often grasp its meaning even without a dictionary. Then schools switched to the "Look See" method, which treated words as individual pictograms to memorize. The results were dismal, plummeting the USA from the top of the literacy ranks to the bottom among industrialized countries.

The Rocket Pen puts phonics back in.

It also adds a context-driven dictionary and a context-driven thesaurus, both powerful tools for improving reading skills. See the reading tutor functions in the chart below.

It is the answer

The Rocket Pen Reader is the answer for helping the reading-challenged in the classroom, special needs classes, home-schooling, and adult education. Because of its mobile-friendly design, you can carry it with you and use it anywhere. Not only does it read to you, it helps you learn to read (for example, by showing you the syllable breakdown and the definition). It is super easy to use, no need to watch a dozen videos to figure out what to do.

Based on the highly successful ReadingPen 2 and vastly superior to the cPen Reader Pen, the RocketPen is the latest generation in a reading tutor scanning pen. It is a quantum leap or two beyond anything else on the market. This amazing device retails for $499, sells for $399 on Amazon and Walmart.com, but is on sale now for a limited time only via our eBay store at only $379!

3. Brainpower tip

There a brainpower drain trap that many people get into, myself included. Maybe it's due to not wanting to be in an echo chamber, or maybe it's because unlike the libtards we "brain functional" people are actually inclusive.

A fanatical libtard has targeted me for abuse, trying to bait me into some argument or another by e-mailing me absurdities, insults, lies, etc. I read those e-mails, partially, but don't take the bait. This person picks topics in which he has zero understanding of the basics and in which I happen to have extensive knowledge. Which is rather odd, because it means he's trying to enter a fight unarmed against a well-armed opponent. It's as if he's trying to prove he is abjectly ignorant. I don't need to waste my time or mental energy confirming that.

IQ is measured in three main areas: verbal skill, math skill, and logic. This libtard is so inarticulate, I thought he was an immigrant and English was a second language. It turns out he's not an immigrant, he's just very, very low in the verbal skills area. His math is even worse. What about logic? That is his worst area. So he has an IQ well below average. He also knows I am in Mensa, so you would think he'd understand there's not only a vast gulf between us in knowledge but also in intelligence. He doesn't. And he's very hostile, sending me abusive messages while also making things up to castigate me about.

I probably should just block his e-mails. Instead, I have them automatically shuttled to a special folder that I visit occasionally. There's a backlog of over a year. He still sends me absurdities, even though I have asked him to stop.

Now, I suppose I could spend time trying to educate him. But his point in sending his abusive messages isn't to try to learn. So that would be pointless. My time is better spent corresponding with people who have something intelligent to say. And this is one reason I don't do antisocial media. Or take in the lamestream media.

People don't need a genius IQ for me to learn from them. So that's not my filter. My filter is basically, "Does this person have a learning orientation and/or a keen interest/passion for a subject?" Can this person enrich my life? Do I feel enriched due to interacting with this person? Can this person express disagreement intelligently, with some rational basis for a differing view? Does this person ever add something new, something that I would otherwise have missed? Those kinds of things qualify a person as a brainpower enhancer rather than a brainpower drain.

I have a cousin who was a preemie and his IQ is at least a standard deviation below average. That puts us pretty far apart on the IQ range. And it has never really mattered. He's got plenty of life lessons I can learn from. For him, it's a struggle to figure things out. But he makes the effort. Because he makes the effort, he makes up for his lower IQ in many ways. For example, when the propaganda for the clot shot was hot and heavy, he wondered why they were pushing it so hard. It made him suspicious, so he decided to delay getting the jab until he could make sense of things. Since the jab narrative was manipulative and never made sense, he never got the jab.

An example

The libtard sent me many messages last year about how he taught PPE and I know nothing about PPE, asserting that wearing a dust mask to stop a biohazard actually works.

Nevermind that:

  • It's a dust mask not a biohazard mask and thus not rated to block biohazards.
  • I have been a nationally recognized safety expert for decades and have an extensive body of published literature on the subject.
  • I underwent respiratory PPE training with the US Navy and at several nuclear power plants under the auspices of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
  • I worked in a chemical plant and thus had PPE training.
  • I have been a handyman for my whole adult life and have usually kept a box of dustmasks on hand for drywalling, woodworking, and cleaning tasks.
  • I was the Safety Director at a gas pipeline compressor station.

No credentials or experience on my part according to the libtard, but he taught a class. I feel sorry for his students. But I'm not going to argue PPE with him.

Other people have asked me about masks versus Covid. I have thanked them for their interest in the truth and told them that I personally own up to 95% of the real estate in the United States. Then I go on to explain that "up to" is any number between zero and 95, and the spec for an N95 mask is that it filters "up to" 95% (thus the 95) of particles 0.300 microns or larger. Which means it might not filter anything. Indeed, that's the rating of the fabric, not the rating of the mask as worn.

When I wore a canister mask to go into a "hot" reactor containment, I had to have a smoothly shaved face so the mask would seal against my skin. I shaved right before putting it on, as did everyone else. The N95 does not seal. It's basically a splashguard. There's also the fact that the largest viruses are only 0.070 microns--compare that to the .300 micron spec. The next "point" made is the masks stop the saliva cloud we all emit. I respond by asking why cars have windshield wipers only on the outside. There's no saliva cloud.

People who have the desire to learn and understand come away from such an exchange understanding that masks do not work as any kind of solution for Covid. Libtards like the one who is trolling me don't "come away" from such an exchange, though I wish they would go away. They double down on their stupidity, anger, and meanness.

Exclude those dedicated to stupidity

When people insist on spewing stupidity, try not to waste your time or mental energy "fighting for truth". Do your best to just ignore them. But be careful not to relegate yourself to an echo chamber. You want people who keep you sharp, and for them to do that there must be disagreement at least once in a while. The key is it needs to be based in reality, not ideology or some other form of stupidity.

4. Finance tip

Since the coup, the supply of money has increased 83% while the basket of goods and services has shrunk considerably. It is no stretch to say we've had 100% inflation, which is another way of saying the dollar has lost half its value. In only three years. And the socialist juggernaut of economic destruction continues on. The Brainless administration's latest budget includes a $2 trillion deficit. That's 2 followed by 12 zeroes. It's the amount they plan to overspend. We never even had a trillion dollar budget until Barry Soetoro (aka, Obama) took office. Now they are planning to lose twice as much as he budgeted! That means even more inflation.

In response to this larceny, you could:

  • Take a part-time job, if you don't already have one and don't already put in 60 hours a week.
  • Cheat on your 1040 taxes, which is not going to gain you much and could end up ruining your life.
  • Rob a bank. Not a bad idea perhaps, since dressing like a bank robber and entering a bank is now considered acceptable behavior. But too risky.
  • Scrimp and save every which way, for example set your thermostat to 55 this winter and 95 next summer. This isn't going to be good for your mood or your health.

Here's an idea that actually works, but it's counterintuitive to most folks. Declutter. That's right, feel richer by having less. Half the contents of the typical clothes closet never get worn. Systematically go through your shirts from left to right, picking the next one in line as the one to wear that day. When you get to a shirt you don't want to wear, remove it. If it's badly worn or is defective in some other way, toss it. If the shirt is in reasonably decent condition, put it in your "donate to charity" bin. By the time you get to the end, you will likely have removed half your shirts. Repeat the with the pants. When you're done, look at how big your closet is!

You can do this a closet at a time, then a cupboard at a time. Towels, sheets, pillows, and blankets that you don't use because they are worn out? Get rid of them. Old pots and pans you don't use because they are damaged? Get rid of them. Chipped glassware you don't use? Get rid of it. Drinking glasses that are scratched or chipped, toss. Same for coffee cups. Books you don't read anymore and will certainly never open again? To the bookdrop! Old toys, old sporting gear, old cleaning tools (the mop you hate, the vacuum cleaner you replaced but kept), toss.

Boxes of stuff in your garage? Reduce this to zero, one way or another. I have zero boxes of stuff in my garage because I think of it as a garage. And you don't use a garage for storing boxes of stuff. Toss or relocate, but get those boxes gone.

Then go for the "it sits out" stuff. Why is it sitting out? Very few things ever should, and the more things you have that sit out the less clean the visual lines in your living space and the smaller it seems. If you have no place to put it, then you probably don't need it or a good place for it is occupied by something you don't need. Pick one, and toss the other.

When you're done with this, your home will seem much larger. You will have more living space, and yet you didn't shell out any money for it. You won't be actually any richer, but you will feel richer. Just as if you had gone out and bought some new item.

Some people who get very good at this downsize their house by 50% or more, thus reducing their insurance, maintenance, mortgage, and other costs to the extent that they actually are noticeably richer. I'm not one of those people, but the way things are going we all may be forced to follow their lead.

5. Security tip

Ice Cube wryly observed, "If you tell the truth, they come after you."

We tend to think of security as a means of protecting your property. But what about protecting your free will? Your sanity? Your self-esteem? Some people steal these things as part of acting out their mental illness. While stealing property means a transfer of its value from the robbed to the robber, that is not the case with this kind of theft. Someone who steals your free will does not increase their own free will. Someone who steals your sanity does not become more sane. Someone who steals your self-esteem does not increase their own.

They do this via deceit, which is why I opened with Ice Cube's wry observation. When you encounter such people, evict them from your life if that's possible. Where it's not possible (for example, you have an abusive boss), then let them know your expectations and your limits. And let them know when they are exceeding the latter or not meeting the former.

How do you identify people who seek to steal your free will, sanity, and/or self-esteem? As noted, they are not honest. Here are some of the behaviors they use:

  • Gaslighting. This name comes from the 1944 movie "Gaslight". The antagonist was making things happen (such as hiding her brooch) to make her think she's going crazy. One thing he did was play with the gas lights and then tell her she was imagining things. One way gaslighting is done in modern times is your antagonist accuses you of something you never did and keeps reminding you of it.
  • Exaggerating. This is were Abigail turns a perceived slight into a major personal attack. It's also called making a mountain out of a molehill.
  • Playing the victim card. You made a simple mistake and Carl makes it all about him, as if you woke up that morning and decided to do that to hurt him. These people over-use phrases such as "my feelings" to make it seem as if you are an uncaring, insensitive lout. They will often pout and make demands for you to get back into their good graces. Usually, whatever problems they have are their own fault and they cause problems for you without considering your feelings.

  • False comparisons. "You're just like" followed by "my ex" or "a child" are ways to diminish you. These really hit at your self-esteem, because they are intended to.
  • Blaming, type 1. A problem occurs. Instead of owning up to it or at least trying to fix the underlying cause, Jesse always blames you.
  • Blaming, type 2. Also known as whining, Jonas blames you for his not getting his promotion. Or whatever.

  • Mindless arguing. A disagreement is one thing, and it can be healthy. Mindless arguing is quite another thing, and it's intended to make you feel less knowledgeable than you actually are. A variation of this is BS arguing, where your antagonist pretends to be an expert (listen for phrases such as "most people") in an effort to make you look stupid even though your protagonist is making everything up.
  • Dredging up settled issues. Five years ago, issue X happened and it got resolved. You have not thought about it since then. Now all of the sudden, Erica wants to argue about it and blame you for every aspect of it.
  • Carping on minor issues. Some fights are not worth having. While it is often healthy to mention a minor issue (so that annoyances don't add up), carping on it can drive the other person nuts. The key is to understand whether an issue is actually minor. It may be a major issue and you just don't understand that. Take the time to learn what's going on.

  • Diversion. Every time you try to discuss something, Nora seems to change the subject. This makes you feel unimportant, as if your views are not valued.
  • Redirection. This is similar to diversion, but with aim to it. Every time you want to discuss why John doesn't take the trash out at night as he promised, John starts in about something you allegedly did wrong.
  • Negative body language. Eye rolling, sighing, turning away from you, walking away while you are talking, etc., are power moves intended to insult you without actually saying anything insulting.

Have you noticed a common thread, here? All of these behaviors are negative, ineffective at solving any problems, and dishonest. You might choose to argue about something important, for example Lewis just spent $100 on lottery tickets. But you will state the problem (gambling!) and the expected solution (don't do that again!). That's negative, but the intent is to get Lewis to stop his bad behavior. There is no intent to rob Lewis of his free will (the gambling is doing that job), his sanity, or his self-esteem. So don't confuse valid feedback or input with this other behavior we have been discussing.

It is important to identify this behavior and stop it early, or being the victim of it will become a habit you can't  break without extreme effort. Years ago, I had a coworker who was struggling with her weight. Some other women in the office kept stopping by her desk to "offer" things like doughnut holes, cakes, and cookies. She would politely decline, but these women would then say things like, "Oh, come on. Enjoy yourself." Or don't be so rigid, try to get along with people, you're no fun, who peed in your Cheerios, and other such statements to make her feel bad for not having their lack of discipline. This got to be so bad, that one day another coworker simply  lost it at the antagonists. She came out of her cubicle and let them know what she thought of their constant harassment and if they kept it up she would start filing formal complaints. The original target had been too drained of her free will and self-esteem to stand up to them.

It is also important to anticipate this behavior and avoid being put in a bad position in the first place. A nurse met a medical student who was very charming. He asked her out, and before long they were living together while she paid all of his bills. Then they got married. Once he officially became a doctor and got that big salary, did he pay her back? Was he grateful? No to both. He started in with demeaning statements, which got more demeaning and more frequent. He made it clear he was too good for a lowly nurse, and said exactly that many times. This is when she should have left him, because worse behavior was sure to follow. And it did. After a couple of years of his verbal and physical abuse, she moved out and filed for divorce. But by then, her self-esteem was in the toilet. It took her many years to get it back.

People who strengthen your free will, add to your mental well-being, and improve your self-esteem might also be dishonest at times. But in a different way. For example:

  • Harry is upset with Rita, but realizes it's a really petty thing. Rita asks him if something is wrong, and he says no. He lies to her because he realizes that there's no value in making any ado over nothing, and this will pass.
  • It's Mary's job to set up the coffee maker before bed, and she forgets to do that. Sam gets up first and finds there's no coffee. So he makes it and goes on about his morning routine. But it's not as good as when Mary makes it, then she remembers she forgot and Sam must have made the coffee. She doesn't complain, and neither does he. They both pretend that neither one did anything wrong.
  • False comparisons are overly positive. Not comparing the other person to Hitler, but to someone like Gandhi or Einstein.

You need to nurture relationships with these positive people, and because resources (including your time) are limited, you have to exclude the ones who erode your free will, sanity, and self-esteem.

See all of my climbing videos here: https://tinyurl.com/ClimbingSigChannel. Some cool climbing  videos:

My hardest climb ever, a 5/11d on lead: https://youtu.be/UT5h0heUUBc . I made a dumb mistake initially, letting the rope wrap over my shoulder. Watch what happens.

The scale: Beginner: 5.6. 5.7. 5.8, 5.9

Intermediate: 5.10a, b, c, d 5.11a, b, c, d

Advanced: 5.12a, b, c, d 5.13a, b, c, d. Almost nobody climbs at this level at any of the 5 local climbing gyms.

This problem applies to men and to women. It's what I call "low testosterone syndrome". For women, it's particularly devastating because you ladies have so little to begin with. You need adequate testosterone for several important functions, including storing calcium in your bones. It's also important for mood, "energy level", and confidence.

Low testosterone is extremely common, today. In fact, it's unusual to have enough free testosterone to be within the normal range and that normal range is a tad generous at the bottom end. That is, you may be within the official normal range but actually have inadequate free testosterone. What's "normal" isn't necessarily adequate, much less optimal.

I don't have hard data to back what I am about to say, but I believe "adequate" starts at the high end of normal and "optimal" is significantly above that. Some "expert" who also doesn't have hard data may disagree, and he's welcome to his uninformed "expert" opinion. Let's focus not on trying to be "normal" but on trying to be exceptional.

Since my testosterone is well above the normal range and I'm at the age where being below the normal range is normal (wrap your head around that one), I must be doing something right. I will share some insights with you. I'm going to address these areas:

  • Supplements
  • Diet
  • Training
  • T-killers

Supplements

You'll find a ton of "T booster" supplements on the marketplace. Most are just B-vitamins with some zinc tossed in, and maybe some herb that nobody's heard of. Many include terrrestris tribulus, which produces amazing results for people who are on anabolic steroids but does absolutely zilch for those of us who are not.

Supplements are just that, they supplement (aid) your other efforts. They are not substitutes. You could take mega doses of the few effective T-supplements and see zero improvement because you have problems or4 even failures in the other areas we will examine in a moment. That said, here are some supplements that can help boost your T (there are others):

  • Anavar. Hard on your liver, use with caution and cycle off it.
  • Fenugreek. It works. I take capsules, but also add whole seeds to rice and to beans (when boiling them). The seeds are very hard, don't put uncooked seeds on anything or you may break teeth.
  • Ginseng. It has a mildly positive effect.
  • Horny goat weed extract. It helps offset anti-T factors.
  • Laxogenin. It works. Cycle on and off.
  • Longjack (aka tongkat ali). This really works. There aren't known side effects, but as with the clot shot it hasn't been clinically tested.
  • Maca. It has a mildly positive effect.
  • Stinging nettle root extract. It helps offset anti-T factors.

And, of course you need adequate zinc, magnesium, D, and B vitamins. It does not follow, however, that taking excess doses of these will increase your testosterone. You just need to ensure you don't have a deficiency.

If you are a man, do not take saw palmetto for your prostate while also trying to boost T. You have to choose one or the other. If you are a woman, you don't have a prostate so taking saw palmetto is totally a waste of your money. And remember, men and women not only have different testosterone needs but process testosterone differently. Make sure you are looking at the range that is for your sex or complications will ensue.

Diet

Eliminate the following from your diet, because all of these lower testosterone:

  • Corn and corn products. There are a few exceptions. Popcorn, for example. Traditional Mexican corn is another example, but it's hard to obtain in the USA because the FDA is the "enforcer" for Big Agra. The main problem with sweet corn is it's been cultivated for 5,000 years to have a large endosperm and basically be a delivery system for endocrine disruptors. Corn or adequate testosterone, these are mutually exclusive.
  • Processed sugar (e.g., cane sugar, beet sugar, fake maple syrup, HFC, and all of the other variations of this drug). This drug causes your pancreas to pump out the insulin, and insulin is antagonistic to testosterone. You need to choose between being pre-diabetic and having higher testosterone. This is apparently a hard choice for the vast majority of people, but I find it to be a simple one.
  • Wheat and wheat products. Similar to the problem with corn. Note that beer is a wheat product. Wheat belly (aka, fatty liver) is an epidemic in the USA.
  • Seed oils. While these highly toxic substances don't directly lower testosterone, they are consumed in place of the healthy fats needed to make testosterone. So you can choose between getting arterial disease plus Alzheimer's or having higher testosterone. The FDA, which is completely discredited, advises eating seed oils; yet another reason to defund the FDA.

Ensure you consume:

  • Foods containing cholesterol. It's often referred to as a fatty acid. It's actually an unsaturated alcohol steroid. It breaks down in your stomach and becomes the building blocks for testosterone and other necessary hormones. "Organic" eggs, butter, and (whole fat, unhomogenized) yogurt are all good sources. So are avocados, nuts, coconut oil, avocado oil, and olive oil. Bacon and lunch meats contain massive amounts of toxins and thus are not good sources.
  • A large variety of whole foods, which an emphasis on fruits and vegetables.

There is allegedly some debate over how many meals per day to eat. I say allegedly, because those who have paid attention to decades of trial and error in the bodybuilding world know the correct answer is 6 to 8. It make sense, spreading your nutrients across the day increases absorbability and has many other benefits that are obvious if you think a little bit about it. Various kinds of fasting trigger the starvation response, and that response means more cortisol and thus less testosterone. I do not skip meals, primarily for this reason.

Training

There is allegedly some debate over whether to do three days a week of circuit training (aka, "whole body workouts") or the bodybuilder split routine that involves a leg day and at least four other training days. I say allegedly, because all of the evidence is for the split routine. One reason it works is you trigger the adaptive response with every training session. A "whole body workout" doesn't trigger the adaptive response at all. With the split training, you get a short-term after effect that is testosterone lowering, but you're still riding on the testosterone kick from the previous workout (and a remnant from the workout before that).

To trigger the adaptive response, you need:

  • Time under tension. You simply do not achieve this with the "whole body workout", because you are hitting all of the muscle groups so not hitting any one of them long enough to get adequate time under tension.
  • Cellular damage. To get a massive trigger here, you need to focus on a particular muscle group. You don't have enough energy to do all the muscle groups this way in one session.
  • Metabolic stress. This occurs when your nervous system gets overloaded, when your fuel delivery system can't keep up (that is, you go from aerobic to anaerobic and back and forth), and you've had enough volume overall with enough intensity in specific muscles to overload your overall system. It "may" be possible to do this with circuit training, but it would be a marginal effect at best. With a split routine, you can push into your limits and then some.

Some training tips:

  • Never skip workouts. Doing so interrupts the testosterone cycles that ride upon one another. Get that "testosterone shot" (the adaptive response) at least 5 days per week, and you have more peaks than troughs.
  • Focus on the extreme range. Gear everything toward being able to work the muscles in this range, even if you sacrifice working them in the rest of the range.
  • Use the correct weight. Generally, people use too much weight for a given exercise. One result is they have to reduce the range of motion to move the weight, and what gets sacrificed is that 15% of range (at the full extension) that gives you 80% of your adaptive response stimulus.

  • Use correct form. For isolation exercises, are you actually isolating? For compound movements, are you properly engaging the prime movers and the stabilizers? To this latter question, let me just say I cringe when I see how people typically do the bench press (for example, they arch their back even though the bench is flat for a reason).
  • Rather than count reps per set, do as many good reps as you can per set. Select a weight that will give you 6 to 12 good reps. Reduce the weight if you must. Then whatever reps you can do will be what you can do, without needing to count reps every set.
  • Do multiple exercises per muscle group. For example, rather than just do front squats do four different types of squats. The point is to increase (for the targeted muscles) time under tension, cellular damage, and metabolic stress.

  • Super set. Do two exercises in tandem. A set of A, followed by a set of B, then repeat, repeat, repeat. If you can do this only for one repeat, that's pretty normal; take a short break then do the other two repeats.
  • Do at least four sets. This seems to be a good number for most people. You might try additional sets to get more volume, and if so you need to reduce the weight. If you are getting adequate metabolic stress, you will need to take a short break.
  • Frequently assess your form. Bad form sneaks up on you.

T-killers

I already mentioned dietary things that kill your T. Here are some others:

  • Parasitic people. These are people who want to engage you in pointless arguing (usually via antisocial media) even though they don't understand the subject, people who gaslight you, people who try to impress you with BS instead of trying to enrich you with truthful information, and people who are just negative. Asking to stop seems to have no effect. I'm stalked by several such people, and I have found that ignoring them tends to work with enough time. Eventually, most such parasites move on to find another victim. Then you get the new ones....
  • Insufficient social rewards. Loneliness is an example. You can fix this by taking up a social hobby or sport (e.g., climbing or pickle ball), inviting a neighbor or two over, offering to help others, and always treating people with respect. Want to generate good karma here? Make a point of complimenting someone daily. For example, thank your Postal driver for delivering the mail and say it means a lot.
  • Inadequate sleep. Be consistent with your bed times, and you will solve 80% of this problem. The other 20% can be solved by various means such as having a wind-down time, keeping your bedroom dark, washing your sheets weekly, having a good mattress and good pillows, etc.

  • Financial problems. These can cause your stress hormones to skyrocket. Make a point of scheduling time to address your spending and look for waste.
  • Poor scheduling. Always rushing around and arriving late? Fix that by not jamming your schedule. Allow some buffer time.
  • Working to exhaustion, stuck in a grind (burnout). The usual solution is to work even more. A good solution is to examine what you're doing and adjust things. Work smarter, automate, outsource, and reduce or eliminate tasks that don't produce enough ROI to be worth doing.
