1. Good News: Where the Intel is Good
Liar Alert!
Nutcase Nancy wrote about Comrade Feinstein, "...she was truly a pillar of
public service: devoting decades to the fight for freedom, safety and
justice."
Quite the opposite. Feinstein lied and labored relentlessly to
deny law-abiding Americans freedoms enumerated in the Bill of Rights, most
notably the 2nd Amendment (she also fought against the 1st Amendment).
Safety? She lied and labored relentlessly to try to create a society in
which only violent criminals are armed. Cities that adopted her "safety"
viewpoint have by far the highest murder rates in the country. As for justice,
Feinstein clearly did not believe in the rule of law.
Pelosi could have said
something honest like, "Comrade Feinstein shared my socialist beliefs and
put great effort into ensuring the safety of rapists and muggers as they
plied their trade. Like me, she did not share the vision of the founders or
respect the Constitution." But that wouldn't play very well in most places,
so she flat out lied instead.
Defending Against Socialism/Communism
Covid isn't the disease we need to worry about. Socialism is the disease
we need to worry about.
- Long-time enemy of the Constitution and America in general (but a
staunch defender of violent offenders), Comrade Dianne Feinstein, has
finally died. She was a terror in her time, doing great harm to the United
States. Now after 90 years of a hate-filled life she's gone, and we can all sleep a little bit better at night.
- Here's a wokester getting corrected by her cat.
https://x.com/catturd2/status/1706253904768360563
- From the Libertarian Party: "In case you missed it, we recently
announced we will be filing for conservatorship over Joe Biden and Mitch
McConnell. This may be unconventional, but it needs to be done. Our
politicians are a deadly combination of senile and corrupt...."
- Brainless Biden's open border via Mindless Mayorkas is deadly. Because
of it, Fentanyl is flooding into this country. "Fentanyl, the deadliest drug
our nation has ever seen, is the leading cause of death for Americans ages
18-45. Known as the 'silent killer,' fentanyl cannot be detected by taste,
smell, or sight when mixed with other drugs and is up to 50 times stronger
than heroin. [source: Senator Roger Marshall].
- Bizarre Biden:
https://youtu.be/g8uukADyczM?si=t_7HaQph67Jw_vL9. The socialists
installed Brainless to show us they can get by with even the most obvious
fraud and then use this whacko to degrade, embarrass, and cripple the United
States. But it's backfiring, because it's gone way too far. Even some
libtards are exhibiting disgust. President Trump clearly won the 2020
election (91% of the mail-in votes were for Biden, completely implausible),
but we have this buffoon installed as POTUS. Will people willingly go along
with another stolen election in 2024? Given this disaster, that's unlikely.
- Our actual President, on Brainless:
https://youtu.be/PDSAQQIyyBA?si=VWmNAZ19_-Lb7mxG.
- Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is my representative in Congress (here in
the KS 3rd District, a communist "represents" us and fights our interests
tooth and nail so I needed someone who doesn't hate America to serve in that
capacity), was able to get the Ukraine War funding removed from the Defense
Appropriations Bill. This is a major step in defeating our socialist and
communist occupiers. See this video:
https://twitter.com/i/status/1707538140901126355
- The People's Republic of New York, which treats the Constitution as if
it were toilet paper, lost a case in the Supreme Court and was ordered to
pay the nation's oldest civil rights organization over $442K in legal fees.
Nobody has yet come up with an explanation of why socialist states like this
one continue to push OSHA for violent offenders. It's some kind of mental
illness, that's for sure.
- The new Speaker Pro Tempore (replaced Kevin McCarthy on a temporary
basis) has ordered Nutcase Nancy to vacate her special digs. Pelosi, of
course, claims this is cruel. This is the same Pelosi who reassigned offices
and parking spaces of members of Congress who refused to vote for the
Unaffordable Care Act. This is the same Pelosi, of course, who enjoys armed
security at taxpayer expense but believes regular Americans should not be
permitted to arm ourselves at our own expense. This is the same Pelosi, of
course, who referred to the murderous insurrections of the summer of 2020 as
"peaceful protesting" but referred to the guided tours of the Capitol (along
with selfies of unmasked, unarmed citizens) as "insurrection". The best
thing Nutcase can do for America is what Diane Feinstein just did. Please,
Nancy, help our country that way. It will be the first decent thing you have
ever done.
- It was widely rumored last week that Comrade Katie Hobbs, the
fraudulently "elected" communist Governor of Arizona had temporarily stepped
down and her political power has been transferred to the State Treasurer,
Kimberly Yee who is a non-communist American citizen. The reality is Comrade
Hobbs made a trip to the District of Corruption for a day (probably to get
marching orders from Comrade Nutcase Nancy). Be careful not to get your
hopes up when reports like this come out. The socialist propaganda machine
spreads such things to demoralize patriotic Americans during the occupation.
- Anyone who does not believe we are involved in a civil war while being
occupied by hostile socialist forces is not paying attention. Their aim is
to utterly impoverish working class people while stripping away what remains
of our civil rights. They already took away voting, but we have a door to
restoring that privilege. Sadly, many of those who fought for voting
following the 2020 fiasco are now in the maw of the socialist machine. That
includes Sydney Powell and President Trump. He is not "former" President
Trump, he is President Trump who won a second term but was prohibited by our
occupiers from taking office.
The Ongoing Covid Scam: Tidbits
-
One of the main goals of the Covid scam was to reduce CO2 output from
the masses (not just with the insane shutdowns, but also via reducing population). By requiring commercial pilots to undergo the experimental
gene therapy that had already shown itself to be damaging to heart
health, this goal could be further realized through pilot shortages and
plane crashes. The FAA had
to change the requirements once pilots were either fired or jabbed,
because the jabbed ones can't pass the heart part of the physical. But
not to worry, those pilots are dying off now from the jab. See:
https://x.com/MakisMD/status/1706195488012394591.
-
Covid Scam II is the sequel, and it's coming to a theater near you. In
Covid Scam I, millions of small businesses were either destroyed or
saddled with excessive debt. One goal of Covid Scam II is to finish off
any survivors. The reason the socialists hate small businesses is small
business owners are overwhelmingly conservative and dot not believe the
socialist theory that money grows on trees. Covid Scam II is bolstered in this
"death to small businesses and the people who own them" effort by the runaway
inflation that is a direct consequence of runaway federal spending (such
as the stupid War in Ukraine). The supply of money has nearly doubled
since the coup while the basket of goods and services has shrunk.
There's your inflation rate, over 100% in three years. That means each
dollar is now worth about half of what it was the day of the coup. Yet
another reason why election integrity matters.
-
Brainless gave a speech in the People's Republic of San Francisco in
which he verbally attacked people who are science-based and thus don't believe
the vaccine BS. This is wonderful for the upcoming elections, because it
further alienates people who might otherwise vote socialist (aka
"Democrat"). Funny how Brainless never mentions the fact there is zero
liability for manufacturers of vaccines and there is no testing for
safety or efficacy due to the lack of liability. There is, in fact, no
proof that vaccines work. There's only an "accept by faith" assumption
they work, and among millions of Americans that faith has been shredded
thanks to the Covid "vaccine" scam.
-
"Fully 52% of all Americans say they will 'probably' or 'definitely' NOT
get the new Covid jab. Wow! What a dramatic change from 20% last year.
The elite call this vaccine hesitancy. I call it being informed. And I’m
proud that AFLDS played a crucial role in this shift." -- Dr. Simone
Gold, America's Frontline Doctors

The Rocket Pen Reader is an affordable, powerful reading assistant and reading
tutor that erases the barriers created by dyslexia and other reading problems.
It can be used privately in the classroom, avoiding stigma, thanks to the
earbuds included in the kit (it can alternatively be used without earbuds).
How it teaches reading
Before the early 1980s, public schools relied on phonics to teach reading.
This allowed any student to "sound out" a new, unfamiliar word and also
recognize its root and thereby often grasp its meaning even without a
dictionary. Then schools switched to the "Look See" method, which treated words
as individual pictograms to memorize. The results were dismal, plummeting the
USA from the top of the literacy ranks to the bottom among industrialized
countries.
The Rocket Pen puts phonics back in.
It also adds a context-driven dictionary and a context-driven thesaurus, both
powerful tools for improving reading skills. See the reading tutor functions in
the chart below.
It is the answer
The Rocket Pen Reader is the answer for helping the reading-challenged in the
classroom, special needs classes, home-schooling, and adult education. Because
of its mobile-friendly design, you can carry it with you and use it anywhere.
Not only does it read to you, it helps you learn to read (for example, by
showing you the syllable breakdown and the definition). It is super easy to use,
no need to watch a dozen videos to figure out what to do.
Based on the highly
successful ReadingPen 2 and vastly superior to the cPen Reader Pen, the
RocketPen is the latest generation in a reading tutor scanning pen. It is a
quantum leap or two beyond anything else on the market. This amazing device
retails for $499, sells for $399 on Amazon and Walmart.com, but is on sale
now for a limited time only via our eBay store at only $379!
It beats the competition

3. Brainpower tip
The "pronoun" thing being pushed on everyone by a very tiny minority has nothing
to do with inclusion. It is entirely about submission. Do not submit. As soon as
you go down this path of corrupting English in deference to bullies, you head
directly into corrupting your thought processes in deference to bullies. If
you use the correct pronouns regardless of what the bully wants, what will
happen? The bully will be upset and probably seek vengeance against you on
(anti) social media. So what? Some people fear that if they don't submit to the
demands, they could lose their job. If your job is such that your employer
expects you to submit to this bullying, then you need to find a different job or
work out with your employer that the bullying for submission has nothing to do
with "inclusion" and it creates a hostile work environment for you. It is the
bullies who must accommodate others, not others who must accommodate the
bullies.
Acceptance and inclusion aren't what the woke say they are
I recently had the pleasure of seeing an old friend I'd met in middle school.
We were at our 45th Class Reunion. He was hugely influential in getting me on
the path to being an athlete. He happens to be gay and in the state where he
lives it became legal for two men to marry. He introduces the other man as his
husband, very matter of factly. There's no limp wrist or swishy stuff from
either of them. They just happen to be gay. It really doesn't come up in
conversation. It doesn't define either one of them. I do not think of them as
gay, it's just a background detail. My friend said some people
in his family do not accept him or his husband, "...and you know, that's OK.
There's plenty of love from those who don't care whether we are gay or not."
My reason for writing the preceding paragraph was to illustrate what
acceptance and inclusion are about. And also give a glimpse into what
intolerance is about. These terms are tossed about without any understanding of
their meaning.
- When you avoid putting labels on people and see the actual person, that
is acceptance.
- When someone's ideas differ from yours and you want to hear those ideas,
that is inclusion.
- A person who tries to bully you into corrupting English is no "tolerant".
That person is tyrannical. That person cannot accept you as you are, that person wants to watch you be
submissive to him.
Also, saying you "tolerate" people who are (for example, black) intimates
it's a defect to be black (or whatever) and you are tolerating that defect. In
English, that's the logic around the word tolerate. How about we stop
"tolerating" each other by leaving out the labels? That's acceptance. Of the
person.
Trying to carry the mental overhead of the hatred culture (those who don't
accept, don't include, and do tyrranize) and their bullying absorbs what would
otherwise be "free and available IQ". Stopping to play pronoun games instead of
carrying on a conversation is stupid on its face, but it also absorbs some
otherwise free and available IQ as you try to enter the conversation. Plus you
are entering it in a position of subservience instead of as an accepted and
included person.
Science-based
I'm science-based, which is one reason I have disagreed with everything Mr.
Fauci has ever said about Covid. He is a bureaucrat with zero technical
expertise. He gets absolutely nothing about immunology correct, because he knows
absolutely nothing about immunology. He ran a lab that fleeced the government
for forty years pretending they could develop a vaccine against a rapidly
evolving pathogen (HIV). He should be convicted on at least 40 counts of grand
larceny for that alone. If enough influential people were science-based, con men
like him would not get away with such theft. I would like to see his next
"speaking engagement" to be at his trial in Nuremberg for crimes against
humanity.
Being science-based also means I use words to describe what is
rather than what someone wishes reality to be. Unless there are personal
circumstances where I choose to honor someone's incorrect pronoun choice (e.g.,
there's an important relationship that would be damaged by rejecting the deluded
person's delusion), I'm not wasting mental energy on trying to remember who is
deluded in what way and whether I need to be reality or anti-reality with that
person.
I also have a problem with boiling people down into being black, gay, or
whatever while not seeing the rest of that person. That's a big step toward
intellectual poverty. I am saddened that many people do this to themselves. The
concept of race does not come from science. Nor does the idea that a single
attribute defines a person. Ignoring that nonsense and carrying on a
conversation with the actual person can be a real brain booster. |
4. Finance tip
I stopped operating my dishwasher on "Sensor Mode". The idea of this mode is the
unit will sense how much heat, water, agitation, etc., you need for clean dishes
and not go extra. That will save you money. The reality is, every load of dishes
comes with bowls, spoons, and plates that have to be rewashed by hand. The point
of a dishwasher is to save time and money by eliminating hand washing of
whatever you put in there. Using this mode also required me to more frequently
run an empty dishwasher with a cup of vinegar to clean it.
Can you think of other "energy savings" that waste energy? Or other types of
"save" that actually waste?
- How about the early low-flush toilets? Flushing five times and still
having a dirty bowl isn't exactly saving water.
- The Compact Fluorescent Lamp (light bulb) saves energy over
incandescent, but only over a decent run time. That run time is less than
the normal operating time.
Behavior can drive savings much more than technology can. CFL was big prior
to LED (which is actually a good lighting choice). My solution was to turn
lights off when not using them, I learned that as a kid. I also put dimmers on
nearly every lighting circuit. Another source of electrical use in the home is
the refrigerator. I don't stand there with my door open, I know where things are
and just get them and close the door. At the grocery store, I put all
"refrigerator items" together and do not mix them with non-refrigerator items.
Then when I put groceries away, I have those "refrigerator items" bags at the
ready and just pop stuff into where it goes. I save maybe $50 a year doing it
this way vs. picking from mixed items. What about getting ice out of the
freezer? The efficient way is to pull the ice tub out and close the door. Get
the ice you want, and put the tub back.
Stupidity can drive waste much more than behavior can. The Brainless
administration is legislating (from the Executive Branch) a new tax on people
who prepare their own food and eat it at home. It's called "dishwasher
requirements that cannot physically be met". Under their new regulations, no new
dishwasher will actually wash dishes. So what will people do?
- Run the dishes through five times.
- Rewash everything by hand.
- Switch to paper plates, plastic utensils, and similar high-waste
products.
- Eat out (not healthy).
- Operate the dishwasher on pots and pans mode for regular dishes.
- Find aftermarket means of "hotrodding" their dishwashers. This might
consist of a kit with a plug-in chip for the control panel, along with a
larger fill valve or other parts.
And of course, Libtards will wear masks while eating off the dirty dishes
because they'll have all received Pfizer's dirty dishes vaccine. |
5. Security tip
Harmful federal agencies, working at the behest of the socialists, have been
aggressively eroding our economy, hijacking our educational system,
corrupting our culture, and inhibiting commerce. They are behaving as if
they are at war with us. They ignore anything that has to do with the public
good, their only goal is to grievously harm the public. Now the FTC has
filed a baseless suit against Amazon. Their reason for attacking Amazon is
this company has a thriving retail marketplace on which thousands of small
businesses depend. This marketplace has brought lower prices, faster
delivery, and many other benefits to consumers. For this flagrant abuse of
power, the FTC should be defunded and its employees should be dismissed.
With the Senate dominated by socialists and the House full of RINOs and
socialists, there is almost no point in reaching out to the legislative
branch. But do it anyhow. Mention this particular case and ask that the FTC
be defunded and its employees dismissed.
Other harmful agencies include the IRS, BATFE, FBI, CDC, and FDA. There's
also the Department of Diseducation, whose reason for existing is to ensure
as many American students as possible graduate illiterate and innumerate;
they have been wildly successful with that.
We need to make an effort to get other people to vote against socialists
and RINOs. Only when these people no longer occupy seats in the Senate or
the House will there be any chance that we will get any meaningful
representation in the federal government. We also need to lobby for bans or
severe restrictions on mail-in voting; that particular fraud vector was a
major factor in the coup that got us into this predicament. |

The adaptive response (to training) is a "repair and grow" mode the body
goes into if correctly stimulated to do so. In this mode:
- The endocrine system reduces cortisol and elevates testosterone.
Both bone and muscle get built, more fat gets burned.
- The immune system ramps up.
- Anti-inflammation measures kick in.
- Old cells are replaced by new ones at an accelerated rate.
The correct stimuli are:
- Cellular damage in the muscle(s). You get this through intensity,
for example using more weight or less leverage.
- Time under tension. It's basically a function of how many reps per
set and how many sets.
- Metabolic stress. This is the most neglected factor, I will discuss
it more in-depth.
The state of metabolic stress is often defined as one where you have used
up all of your glycogen. You push into the anaerobic part of the energy
spectrum. The body doesn't like being there, so it will try to adapt so the
load that got you there this last time won't get you there again. Your blood
cells might become more efficient, your heart might become a tad stronger,
some new capillaries will appear, your lungs get a bit more efficient, and
so forth. And generally, your muscles get stronger. But they also get bigger
so as to store more glycogen.
Metabolic stress is uncomfortable, so people tend to avoid it. Those who
avoid it get a muted adaptive response at best. The primary means of
avoiding metabolic stress is to take your time when training, perhaps with
long breaks between sets. By long, I'm talking about a couple of minutes.
What you want to do instead is push yourself such that you simply run out of
gas.
I recently trained with a friend I had not seen in decades. I told him it
was chest day and that I do supersets. I told him I don't rest until I have
to, and when I have to rest you can tell. I can never predict where this
will be. What happens is I just hit a wall. I get a little woozy and feel
like all of my energy is gone. I'm undergoing metabolic stress. It turned
out he does the same thing, he was just using different terminology.
Many of us just have an intuition about metabolic stress. We know to
drive hard, rather than pace ourselves. But when we hit that barrier, we
allow ourselves to recharge a bit. Just a bit. I'll bend over or lean on
something to catch my breath and recharge for a couple of minutes. Which I
hope is enough for another super set. But I don't rest long enough to feel
rested. Once I hit the metabolic stress threshold, I want to keep metabolic
stress as high as I can for the remainder of the session.
When climbing, it's a different thing for me. I'm not training, I'm
engaging in an athletic performance. I need the metabolic stress to go way
down between attempts. For example, I climbed this route three times in a
row:
https://youtu.be/Tlwi8yeRYrY?si=WJxOAgS1aecYR1M5. I rested almost 10
minutes between attempts.
My friend I hadn't seen in decades is almost my age. His doctor told him
to back off on his training, now that he's older. The idea is you can't
recover as well so don't train as hard. My friend said the opposite is true.
As you age, you need to stimulate the adaptive response even more. You are
fighting age, your body is being pulled backwards by it. Throttling back on
the only thing that pulls you in the opposite direction makes no sense.
Remember that metabolic stress is systemic. That means if your entire
workout consists of isolation exercises, you probably are not going to get
enough metabolic stress from that session. Start each session with at least
one large compound exercise. I've been told you can't do that with
shoulders, so I must be wrong. Well, you can. I start each shoulder workout
with a super set. I tilt my hands kind of heel high and do dumbbell side
laterals (standing) while tensing my abs and glutes. I immediately follow
each set of those with a set of dumbbell overhead presses (standing). The
trick with dumbbell overhead presses is you need to push those to the full
extension. Most people use too much weight and can't do this, so they
shortchange the exercise.
If you do come up with some routine where there's no chance for a
compound exercise or you don't know one for that muscle group, then add one
not related to working that group. You can always do a couple of sets of
dumbbell squats or similar to kickstart your metabolic stress. But
generally, it's:
- Arm day (I don't do both sides of arm on same day, but it's a good
way): Pull-ups.
- Back/biceps day: Pull-ups.
- Chest/triceps day: Bench press, but focus on squeezing the bar
inward to put less emphasis on the delts.
- Leg day. Squats or deadlifts.
- Shoulders day: Pre-exhaust and then do overhead presses. Also
consider handstand pushups.
Another good trick is to do more sets of the same exercise. It's commonly
advised to do three sets of a given exercise. Robert Wichman teaches his
students to do four sets, and that's at a minimum. If I'm trying to bring a
particular part out better (for example, I want thicker lats), I will do
five or even six sets of a particular exercise. With very little rest. This
adds significantly to time under tension, but it's also burning more fuel
and/or keeping me from going back to the normal aerobic mode. It can drive
metabolic stress in a major way.
Remember, getting a sufficient adaptive response is the goal of each
training session. You need all three stimuli to cross the magic line,
wherever that happens to be. If you get only two out of three, you have
wasted that training session. The single biggest mistake I have seen people
make is they don't concentrate. They do a set, then check their phone. This
results in a switching of attention, along with too much rest. Once you
start your session, stay focused on it. Make each rep count, by doing it as
correctly as possible. Make the total session count, by keeping rests short
and repeatedly driving yourself into metabolic stress. |

At
www.supplecity.com, you'll find plenty of informative, authoritative
articles on maintaining a lean, strong physique. It has nothing to
do with long workouts or impossible to maintain diets. In fact:- The best workouts are short and intense.
- A good diet contains far more flavors and satisfaction
than the typical American diet.

7. Factoid
The 25 cities in the USA with the highest rates of violent crime are all under
socialist control. |
8. Thought for the Day
Since the coup, the economy has gotten profoundly worse. The dollar has lost
more than half its value in only three (agonizing) years. The socialists
impoverish us culturally, as well. Let the disaster that has ensued since the
coup be a wake-up call to everyone. We must have zero tolerance for socialism.
We must do more than strongly resist it, we must seek it out and destroy it.

Authorship
The purpose of this publication is to inform and empower its readers (and save you money!).
The views expressed in this e-newsletter are generally not shared by socialists or
other brainwashed individuals. That's because those fools live in an alternate reality
and have not bothered to learn the basics of how life works. They cannot do
basic math, cannot apply logic, and cannot be bothered to learn the basic facts
relevant to any topic that they are passionate about.
Except where noted, this e-newsletter is entirely the work of Mark Lamendola. Anything presented as fact can be independently verified.
Where sources are not given, they are readily available to anyone who makes the effort.
Mark provides information from either research or his own areas of established expertise. Sometimes, what appears to be a personal opinion is the only possibility when applying sound logic--reason it out before judging! (That said, some personal opinions do appear on occasion).
Personal note from Mark: I value each and every one of you, and I hope that shows in the diligent effort I put into writing this e-newsletter.
It is an act of service, almost no money is generated for me through this
effort. Thank you for being a faithful reader.
