Search engine submittal tips

  1. It's OK to submit more than one page--but only to directories, not search engines.
  2. Don't copy the same page to 4 different names and submit it--doing so will get your listing dropped.
  3. Ensure the keywords you submit with form part of the text on your page.
  4. Focus on your page's purpose. Write a description that is clear and concise.
  5. Don't try to spoof the search engines by using words that don't relate to your page.
  6. Keep your purpose in mind. Don't add keywords that dilute the impact of your page.
  7. Raw traffic won't pay your bills; customers who are pleased to find what they were looking for will.
