What Information Do We Collect?

When visiting the our Website, you may provide us with two types of information:

1. Personal information you voluntarily choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis

2. Website use information gathered on a collective basis as you and others browse our Website.

IWe do not bombard people with e-mails, nor do we start sending them surface junk mail. We don't take your contact with us as "permission" to start sending you anything or sign you up for any list of any sort. Mindconnection does have an eNL that comes out twice a month. You must ask to be signed up for it--we don't assume you want to receive it just because you bought a product or contacted us for some other reason.

What Are Cookies?

Our site uses order forms for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitors' contact information (like your email address). We use contact information from order forms to send orders, information about our company, and promotional material from some of our partners to our customers. We also use customer contact information to get in touch with a visitor when necessary--for example, many people write us for advice on a variety of topics and we frequently make individual responses. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Mindconnection's offices are actually in a windowless cement bunker, below grade, believe it or not! We have restricted physical access to our building, an armed guard on site, an elaborate security system, restricted access  to our computers, and a working relationship with the police department in a low-crime area that has additional security measures. So, it's not likely someone will break in and steal information about you. We do not leave any computer logged in unattended. Further, we use dynamic IP addresses for our Internet access, so every time we log on, we are somebody new--this is very frustrating to a hacker. All this is just for the non-sensitive information.

For our own products, our shopping cart information exists at a data center even more secure than our headquarters. Our partners have similar security measures for their sensitive information. We do not partner with MLMs, e-mail spammers, or other scam artists who are out to make a buck rather than conduct their business with the goal of meeting a customer's need in a way that is both moral and ethical.
