| If you live in Canada,
expect delays and nuisance taxes levied by your government any time
you buy from outside the country. You
would be well-served to have a USA shipping address that can forward
to you. This costs far less than shipping to your address in Canada,
and it is undoubtedly faster. You can Google-search for one, or try
one of these:
There's another really good reason to ship to
a US-based forwarding service you are in Canada:
In
addition to the delivery issues, your government tries to bleed you
dry with absurdly high import taxes and other fees. We do not
collect these in advance. The carrier (usually FedEx) will collect
these C.O.D.
If
refusal to pay the VAT results in a return of the package, you are
still responsible for any shipping charges incurred. These are
services you bought, and they were rendered.
We will not pay
the manufacturer's restocking fees for you, nor will we pay the
round trip credit card fees. So, you can plan on your refund to be
about 12% less than the product price. Even at this, we still lose
money (and time) on the return. |
